I just need to vent a second

I got out of an episode recently. It started 15 months ago and ended at about the 12.5 month mark.

I'm doing all the right things. I still haven't unlocked my social media. My Spotify still has a ton of music blocked. All my CDs are in the back of a closet that would be a bitch to get at. I'm working on myself and ensuring my goals are still aligned. Coming here has helped with feeling less alone.

I'm hitting a rough patch with some stuff in my life. And every time I go to face the toughest issue, I'm back in one of those fantasies. But empty and devoid of euphoria. I keep cutting it off when I realize what's happened a minute later. But I fucking hate how all the fantasies are just _there_, waiting for me. All their little details.

I know the solution is to stuff an audio book in it for the commute. The solution is to grab some ASMR before I go to confront such a huge, life-altering dilemma. I know it's my brain reacting to the stress and seeking something to take the edge off. I just fucking hate how it feels like a goddamned ambush.

Thank you for coming to listen to the vent. Drop your book or ASMR channel recs in the comments if you like.

How to do Art Nouveau whiplash?

Hello! I'm interested in learning how to do the art noveau whiplashes. I read somewhere that French curves are used, but I'm not sure how.

I've tried to loosen up and try to play with curves, but nothing feels right.

Does anyone know of any specific methods used to draw those whiplashes?

Looking for recommendations for unisex water citrus fregrance

Hello! My apologies, I'm not familiar with fragrances. I hope I'm describing this in a useful way.

I'm looking for recommendations for a citrus (the generic citrus, not specifically lemon or lime) and like fresh water. Mid to cold in temperature. Unisex preferred. \*NO\* powder. Open to other notes in the fragrance. Hoping for something overall light? Not a heavy scent, if that makes sense.

ISO Blū by bodysource

Perfume name: Blū

Maker: bodysource

I'm looking for something similar to this. My bff got this perfume as a gift as a kid. It was slightly citrus-scented, but not distinctly any one citrus fruit. Just very fresh. I got to smell it twice before the bottle was destroyed. It was a light, unisex scent.

It's a shot in the dark. I'm pretty sure this is from ~2003. It seems to have been some promotional item at Khol's. I doubt anyone remembers it. But if they do, is there anything kind of similar? I'd like to surprise them.

Is Master Study a Thing in Music?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post. I did scour the internet and the rest of reddit. I also don't know a ton about how music works. I want to try learning again. But I need motivation/a goal. I love master studying in other areas, so I thought it would be a good place to start learning music.

Master study in the visual mediums is when an artist copies another. It teaches a lot of things and has its time and place. Such as to learn technique, how to apply concepts, and to assist other artists (in this era, for animation).

Is this a thing in music as well? Do you copy other bands for these reasons? If so, how would you do it? How would you master study another band/musician/artist's style?
