Just bought a 2017 Lusso Prima Edizione (US) and I’m in love!

I fell in love with these cars before I was old enough to drive. It feels unreal to buy one as my first big adult purchase. Let me know if there’s any tips you have for owning one, and also let me know what tires you’d recommend (it desperately needs some new ones).

Any experience with Grady’s Long COVID Clinic?

Does anybody have any experience with Grady’s Long Covid clinic in Atlanta? I have an upcoming appointment as a new patient and wanted to see if anyone was willing to share their experience. For context, I am 22, and have the ME/CFS and POTS subtype. They sounded very kind and understanding when setting up my appointment so I’m hopeful.

Any tips for recovering nervous system- early in the process

Hi all, I will be honest in that I don’t have a definitive me/cfs diagnoses. I didn’t have a traditional path to getting where I am- I stopped Lexapro after being on it for nearly a decade, my entire adolescence into adulthood. I stopped it fully after a 3 month taper 7 months ago. Around that same time I had a couple of severe bladder infections and what I thought was a mild cold (mild enough I never got it checked to see if it could’ve been COVID). So I don’t know what exactly was the trigger. But I did have escalating OCD specifically focused on health alongside physical symptoms of a dysfunctional nervous system and fatigue that slowly progressed alongside it.

Now I am stuck feeling mostly bedbound, and while I can still get up to go to the bathroom or make a sandwich or stuff, much more than that feels like it triggers a crash. Getting to work has been hell, and although I’ve been able to take a couple days off I’m not in a position where I can take extended leave. I’ve really only felt this severe for a couple of weeks, but my state has rapidly declined in the past month from what would be considered mild. I just kept pushing myself because I didn’t know what was happening, and for financial reasons I honestly didn’t have a choice.

My physical symptoms are of a very unhappy nervous system. Anyone touching me or a surface I’m on feels like a shockwave. I feel like I’m plugged up to an electrical socket, with buzzing throughout my body and constant involuntary muscle spasms. My heart beat feels like it pulses through my whole body. I can’t sleep without trazodone, and it’s broken even then. And when I try to get up for more than a couple minutes it feels I’m getting poison injected into my veins followed by shaking and extreme fatigue and mental haze. I feel like I’m in a constant downward spiral of crashing and a lowering baseline, to the point where I’m just dragging a broken body along for the ride hoping things miraculously change one day.

Since I am still early in this, and only 22, despite feeling awful 24/7 right now, I have a lot of hope and willpower for recovery. I already started reinstatement of the Lexapro 3 weeks ago, hoping that will calm things down if this is some sort of withdrawal syndrome. I’m willing to do brain training or whatever else people have found success with. I’m trying not to let the stories on r/cfs get me down however terrifying they may be. Please let me know, anyone who has pulled out of this, what worked for you. I appreciate your time more than you know it.
