Hi I’m a 25F and 5’1 135-140lbs. This is the heaviest I’ve ever been and it’s really affecting my confidence. Im a pretty active person and enjoy going to the gym 3-4x a week but food noise has always been an issue for me. I want to lose about 15-20lbs.

I signed up for Hers and was matched with the Wegovy pill. I still have to do the video consultation but im nervous to actually start due to the side effects. I have had a history of IBS symptoms but have never been formally diagnosed so im scared of stomach pain and diarrhea. I also have generalized anxiety disorder. Im on Lexapro but im currently tapering off due to insomnia. Can anyone give their real raw experience with the pill? Is it really worth the cost and potential side effects? Has it worsened your anxiety, mental health, etc?

I like trying new cafes and restaurants and bars but I’m not into the nightlife clubby scene anymore. I feel like I’m into more of a chill coastal vibe but want to be around other hardworking young professionals early in their career. I am also an engineer and looking for jobs and I know San Diego has a bunch of pharma/biotech companies but I feel like living in the heart of San Diego would be too busy for me. I heard that Encinitas and Carlsbad are chiller but honestly don’t know much about the area. I am also single and hope to be in a relationship but heard many negative things about the dating scene near San Diego lol. If you have recommendations on the best city to relocate to lmk!!!
