I've been in and out of my gp and gynae since I was 12 with "painful periods" but they've gotten progressively worse over the years. I've tried around 5 different pills and have the mirena coil 13 months, the mirena coil actually helped amazingly for 6 months but then just stopped working. I had a pelvic mri last year that identified potential superficial endo and one of my ovaries being weirdly high up. My gp last year advised I try the mirena. I got referred to an endometriosis clinic (the one in the Coombe) last week, gp said because im paying private i should hear something within 8 weeks but what should I expect from the clinic? Im genuinely terrified I'm going to be completely fobbed off and sent home, or just put on another pill with no follow up. I don't necessarily want surgery i just want my periods sorted and to not have to plan my life around them anymore. What should I expect? Thank you!

I'll be getting a construction studies bachelors degree but have always wanted to do a trade. I've been given the opportunity to start an apprenticeship alongside my degree. I should've done it when I was younger tbh im 22 (f) now. I have 9 months experience in site management but none as a tradesmen. Should I look into shadowing before doing an apprenticeship? Did you have practical experience before starting? My school didn't have practical subjects i honestly don't know if im good with my hands? I could do course before committing - should I?

what's it like? Whats a typical day in life? How good do your fine motor skills need to be (can I keep my acrylics just short lol)

What do you like least about your job? Im not really bothered about the long hours. Only concern I think would be my time of the month.

Basically the title!. Course timetables came out today so was wondering when we find out the dates repeat results come out? Or roughly when did they get released last year ? Thank you!

I vaguely (maybe wrongly) remember repeat results coming out after semester 1 started. Whats everyone who has to repeat an exam/assignment doing. Are you staying home till results? Starting and hoping for the best? I've luckily never been in this situation before until now. Thank you!

I hate desk work and have always been interested in the trades (id be interested in a plumbing/electrical apprenticeship) its just something I never even considered because obviously dyspraxia and manual labour don't tend to get along. I'm a natural ginger but looking for a tan that will give me a sunbed tan without actually doing sunbeds. I've seen effn tan on tiktok (I've seen gingers even wear the ultra dark) and it seems it gives all the girls a tan that looks dark but not orange/unnatural. Obviously it's tiktok tho so I was just wondering here is it worth the hype? Should I buy the tanning water for my face or use the body one? Thank you!

Not specifically endo related but basically I have the mirena coil to try manage my endo symptoms while I wait for a lap. I've had 8 months of bliss then in the past 2 weeks all my period symptoms have suddenly made a return. I can feel my mirena strings etc so I don't think the mirena is the issue but I'm assuming my doctor will want to have a look to check. I know majority of women don't feel pain etc with the speculum and I was genuinely surprised when I did. But my uterus is tilted back and it's far back so my only option is the big silver metal one like i genuinely find the sensation of the speculum so painful/uncomfortable (once the speculum was positioned i found my coil insertion fine like the speculum was the worst part by miles). My doctor mentioned me having a tight/strong pelvic floor but does anyone have any tips for dealing with speculums/exams so I can actually go to fix my problems. Thank you!

I'm a pale ginger. I've tried like saint tropez etc and they try out my skin and make me look orangey. Tinted moisturiser is a bit to high maintaince for me like I want something more then a glow, I actually want a tan. Any recommendations are appreciated! Bonus if the tan is decent for people with dry skin. Thank you!

Random edit: idk if its possible but ideally id like a tan that's dark enough for a night out but wearable day to day

I've searched the sub already. Dr cliona at Eden medical is named alot but I can't seem to book a consultation with her on the website. Does anyone have any recommendations like I've heard sometimes that well known clinics dont automatically mean good. I'm looking for filler thats relatively natural and for someone (qualified) to help me achieve that. Thanks so much!
