Has anyone here met their potential spouse online while living in different countries, and eventually gone through with the marriage? I’d love to hear from people who have actually made it work or if it didn’t work out, what the challenges were.
Hi everyone! I’m looking for some genuine advice on choosing a Master’s, especially with the goal of moving abroad eventually too i m based in south asia rn.
I have a background in Communications / marketing worked in Growth Marketing**, but I’m unsure whether I should build on that or pivot into something like analytics, strategy, business, or product marketing.**
I keep seeing people say marketing/analytics is increasingly being taken over by AI, which makes me question what’s actually worth pursuing.
Would love to hear from people who’ve studied/worked abroad: What fields have good long-term prospects, employability, and opportunities to stay abroad?

If you’re wondering whether you should apply to the McKinsey Forward Program, my answer is yes.
I think it’s especially useful if you’re mid-career, as you can relate the learning to real work situations.
It’s also a good addition to your CV and a nice way to build your problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Overall, if you get the chance, I’d say go for it.

F here. I'm at the beginning of my career and still figuring things out professionally, but I also want to get married someday.
I've been wondering whether men actually care about a woman's career stage or level of success when it comes to choosing a long term partner.
My impression is that while a woman's career itself may not matter that much to most men, socioeconomic background often does.
It seems like people tend to pair up with others who have had similar upbringings, opportunities, expectations, and outlooks on money and life. That's partly why I'm focused on building my career and creating stability for myself.
At the same time, I don't want to delay finding a partner until I've reached some arbitrary milestone.
For men who are already established in their careers and thinking seriously about marriage, how much does a woman's career stage or stability matter to you?
Or does it come down more to character compatibility, and shared long term goals
Curious to hear different perspectives. Is anyone else trying to balance building a career while also wanting to settle down?
