fafsa denied

wanted to change my (22yo) life for the better by going to community college > transfer & get bachelors but fafsa denied my pell grant... i worked full time in 2024 & had around 40k agi which is enough to get disqualified ig.

anyways, i really dont want to be in a lot of student debt especially since i still got a car loan + other bills right now. and im poor as hell right now 😭

my only hope is the buckeye bridge program which waives student loans if you get an associates from a community college. but its really not clear if i qualify for it since i dont even qualify for the pell grant.

im going to talk to someone from the school monday, but i honestly dont know if ill pursue college if im not getting some financial assistance

thoughts and advice appreciated

sai of 17k, not eligible for pell grant

im tryna go to community college (22yo) so I applied for fafsa &it said im only eligible for student loans, not grants

my agi in 2024 was 39.5k, is this why im not eligible? thats not even a lot considering it was a $19/hr job with lots of overtime.

im gonna crash out i really don't wanna pay to go to college what yall think

edit: have a bank account of less than 2k if that matters, deadass one paycheck from homelessness
