all of my managers continue to tell me along with other sales associates at my location that if we don’t “meet goal” with emails (my location has a goal of 50% 🫩😒🙄) that we can face write ups or even termination. is this legal? if it is, HOW?! WE CANT CONTROL THE CUSTOMERS GIVING US THEIR PERSONAL INFO!!! i can’t force a customer to spit their email out to me to get my % up, why am i being reprimanded and THREATENED for not harassing customers????? can someone weigh in on this? i’m so fucking exhausted.

so i called out sick earlier in the week and i nearly instantly got a notification from legion that my schedule was republished. i now have a single shift this week instead of my originally scheduled 4 shifts? is this legal/allowed?? what should i do about this? because this is not the first time i’ve noticed things like this happening with my schedule.

on a semi-unrelated note, my manager has regularly made “jokes” about me being late to work when i clock in no later than a minute after my scheduled time (ex: scheduled for 9:30, clocking in at 9:31) and has made comments on more than one occasion about how i should “show up early” to work to “avoid clocking in late”.

is this iffy behavior i should be concerned about and do something about? or am i just overthinking it?

okay so, my partner is a trans woman and she’s OBSESSED with limited edition styles of a specific brand of shoe that can be hard to find given her shoe size… i found a pair i know she’ll love a few months back online and a snagged them to hide and give to her as a birthday present. recently i got her a different pair, unrelated to her birthday gift, and i got her usual women’s size 11 and she said she thinks her feet have shrunk?

i’m aware that feet shrinkage is a thing with hormones being that i’m transmasc and experience the opposite side of the same coin with similar problems. my main question is, is there anything i can find online product wise that could make shoes fit better, especially if they’re only about a half to one full size too small? she has told me that her current pairs of size 11’s can definitely be worn but just not for long without it causing her feet to get achey…. and i want my baby to be able to wear her pretty shoes at work 😭

MY STORES BEEN OPEN FOR 45 WHOLE MINUTES AND IVE ALREADY HAD 7 WHOLE GROWN ASS ADULTS THROW CLUMPS OF FOLDED MONEY AT ME WHILE I HAD MY OPEN PALM FACING THEM!!!!!!! i get that its customer service and that *i’m* serving you, but respect is a non negotiable!!!!!!!!!! STOP PUTTING YOUR COINS ON THE COUNTER AND STOP THROWING YOUR BILLS IN OUR GENERAL DIRECTIONS! if it were kids who haven’t been taught any better, i may be more understanding, but these are all grown adults who are old enough to be my parents as a person in their mid-20s. i have 6ish years in retail experience and this is the only job i’ve ever worked where 80% if not more of the customers are rude as shit because they know they can get away with it cuz the worker will be reprimanded instead of them.

CASHIERS ARE PEOPLE, NOT PART OF THE STORE! CUSTOMERS, DO BETTER!!!!
