Trying to install xubuntu on laptop (lenovo yoga 310), keep getting the above error. Still happens after redoing the USB, redownloading the ISO file, used etcher and rufus, used different USB drives.
Edit: have tried different distro, same issue. Still no idea how do do anything with kernels despite a lot of googling

has some bad skin around the base of his tail and rear and on his tail from biting/overgrooming (unsure if anything promted this as I was on holiday when it started). Have been keeping him in a cone and post-surgery onsie to try and stop him going at the poorly parts. Was hoping the skin would clear up but he is clearly very unhappy (staying in the sofa most of the day) and peeing everywhere and has now moved on to his tail so had decided to contact a vet on monday (reccommended vet has higher prices on the weekend and I have low income).

What is now concerning me is I found a tiny insect on his fur near the unwell area (very small, black, thin oval shaped, i have not seen it fly but it looks like the kind of thing that might have wings). It was not a flea. I assumed it had just landed on him. Today we have found another in the same area, which suggests they aren't just landing on him. My child attempted to lift the onsie to have a better look but he resisted. We also saw he has a little stool stuck to the remaining fur but he is resisting any effort to resolve that too. He is making quite sad sounding, possibly pain related noises when we try and do anything in the poorly area. Unsure if it can wait until monday now.
Might be an odd one, but I've noticed the screws/bolts/whatever you call them on my rogue 2 are very soft, even if you're being careful you can tighten them maybe once or twice before they're useless. I'm considering swapping them all out, but I haven't a clue where to start with identifying suitable replacements. Like, can they just be swapped out with anything that is the same size? Is there any particular metal thats best? Anything to avoid? Any way I could mess this up and damage my chair?

Permissions are enabled
Drivers reinstalled (camera app seems to have broken after this one)
Tried a registry edit
Tried to remove old drivers but failed
Haven't been able to find anything else to try to fix this. Any ideas?
