Gallery gasket 3-4 psi..

Got an oil pressure gauge installed, picked the car up and went for a small drive to get it up to temps & check the pressure. Well to my disbelief the gauge said 3PSI (glow shift LED, t’d off factory oil pressure switch) Called the shop because honestly I thought the gauge was reading incorrectly, they did their own oil pressure test today & says it’s at 4 PSI.. so the gauge was reading correctly lol. No cel, or engine oil pressure light. Car sounds fine on startup, no timing chain rattle or anything. Changed my oil 3 times the past year (have owned it for a year) It’s staying at the shop and they’re gonna take the timing cover off & planning to do the gaskets & some other parts while it’s open. What a day to get an oil pressure gauge installed.. so if your thinking about it DO IT. 09 125,000KM.
EDIT: as stated no unusual sounds or knocking so I’m hoping everything will be good after the work.

20mm spacers on stock rays.

Had shaking from the front wheels after adding spacers, took the front wheel off & found the studs hitting the back of the wheel. So I’m curious if grinding/using a dremel to make a pocket is my ONLY option to run these z1 20mm spacers. I’m on the sport rays (2009). Any insight is appreciated, cheers.

Wheel shake with spacers.

Installed 20mm z1 spacers all around, once I hit 120km/h the steering wheel starts to shake. Any ideas? No shake or weird feeling until then.

Am I in the wrong?

Selling an automotive part, buyer A says he can get them in the afternoon. Gives me the run around and says tonight works better, fair enough. We agree to a time & 20 minutes before the agreed time I message and say let me know when you’re 10-15 away. No answer. Lots of people were messaging me for this item so I tell another buyer if the first person doesn’t come within 45 minutes (30 minutes after the agreed time) you can come get them. Still no answer. So I tell buyer B you can come get them (he was very motivated and willing to pay full price) buyer B says he’s on his way. Then buyer A messages me and says “be there in 15”, this is 45 minutes after the agreed time. I said they’re sold and they got pretty upset and pretty much said thanks for wasting my time & some swear words.. Was I in the wrong?

Going over speed bumps.

To preface I’ve been driving manual for about a year now & have a method of going over speed bumps but I’m curious to hear your thoughts/opinions.
Scenario: going through the drive thru, coming up to a speed bump at around 5/10kmh. Most of the time entering the drive thru I’m in second, getting close to the speed bump I engine brake and then clutch in when I’m about to hit it, once my front tires are over I will put it into first and give it a bit of gas to get my rear tires over (lowered car btw). I shift to first because I don’t wanna lug my engine & going into first doesn’t give me any grief. Seems to work for me but I’m curious to know how some of you would approach that situation.

Water pump/thermostat

Getting everything in a list for the gallery gaskets, is AISIN the OE for water pump/thermostat? $350 on Nissans website for the water pump or the aisin for $65 on rock auto. I don’t wanna spend the extra $300 if it’s the same thing lol

Anyone using these?

Just need some wheels locks, can anyone confirm these fit? Some reviews are hit or miss on them fitting and nothing stating 370z.

Drove my friends z and is was a pretty different experience. Both have manual transmissions but in mine when I’m in first-third gear in the 2000rpm range and I let off the gas completely, the car will almost jerk as it starts to coast. It almost feels like a small downshift in a sense, wondering if anyone has any ideas? Diff bushing? Engine mounts, maybe?

Has anyone ever had an issue where your z will go into limp mode at 3500rpm with no cel? It will happen randomly upon start up and with a restart it will be fine.

I’ve cleaned maf/tb, new air intake boots & pcv valves/hoses. Any ideas would be appreciated it.
