I am happy to say that yesterday I finally got them redone with a trusted piercer and I couldn’t be more happy with the results! He nailed it, literally haha.
I just came across this post made here 2 days ago where OP described being in some chatroom with someone who made a remark about how they “wish they had BPD like the cool pretty ladies”
Did I miss something??? Since when did BPD become the Cool Girl™️ mental illness? Is this a thing now or is it just that one person who thinks this?
If it is, is this the fault of that new Obsession movie or something? I haven’t seen it but I’ve seen a lot of people on SM romanticizing it and going on about how they can “tOTaLLy ReLaTe” to the the main character who (if I’m not mistaken) is supposed to be some kind of BPD allegory or something?
I’ve never really heard people talk about BPD period unless they were directly/indirectly affected and it’s usually nothing positive. So like… when did this happen?
A few days ago I posted here concerned that my nipples had been pierced too deep and went through my areolae rather than directly through my nipples. I removed the piercings about 24 hours after they’d been put in. I went back to my piercer and was able to explain my concerns and she kindly offered me a full refund🥳 So now it’s just a matter of waiting for them to heal up so I can get them done properly this time. I took them out very early so they should heal relatively quickly with minimal scarring. All’s well that ends well!
Title basically. Yesterday I posted about having a crooked left nipple piercing and was informed by multiple people that by the look of the piercings they’d also been pierced through the areola rather than the nipple. Here’s a closer shot of the right piercing for inspection (the left has already been removed as it was crooked and I plan to have it repierced). I can’t tell whether it’s gone through my actual areola and thus needs to be removed or if it’s more like the base of my nipple where it connects to the areola but it’s just a bit swollen
I will mention though that my piercer said that she was trained to include some of the areola for piercing women’s nipples (which I’ve also been made aware is improper) so I’m guessing that she did what she said and I’ve been pierced through the areola, but I just want to make sure I’m not rushing into removal

I got some piercings and upon being inspected by another piercing professional, I’ve learned that the person who pierced me completely botched it and placed the piercings rather dangerously in a way that they likely won’t heal and possibly become infected.
I plan to go in to get them removed and ask for a refund, but I’m not holding my breath about them agreeing. It was quite a hefty sum of money though and I genuinely would like it back.
If in the event they don’t budge on the refund, is there any kind of recourse I can take? Who could I possibly get to intercede on my behalf per chance?
Got these pierced today and I am beyond frustrated. This isn’t the result of swelling, my left nipple was pierced at a completely different angle than my right the right is perfectly horizontal whilst the left is diagonally pierced. I don’t know what to do at this point.
