Philly World Cup research project—Temple student looking for interviewees :)
Hi everyone! My name is Andrea and I’m an undergraduate anthropology/philosophy student at Temple University (also from Delco, of course). I'm conducting ethnographic research during the period of time the 2026 FIFA World Cup is being held in Philly and I am in search of interview subjects in (or can be in) the Philadelphia area or the surrounding areas that can help me with this research. To not go on and on about what it is about, I'm looking into the ways a sense of belonging is (or is not) created for certain fans in the football/soccer space.
Interviews would be held in a public setting and monetary compensation would be provided for one’s time and the information they provide me. Interviews may take at minimum thirty minutes to at most an hour and a half. I am primarily seeking female interview subjects but definitely am not opposed to male ones. All interview subjects will have their identities anonymized by default unless they wish for their identities to be public.
If you are able and wish to be interviewed by me please reach out through private messages and we can discuss the details. Thank you!
