I’m a noob I just started playing last season and hit masterball 3. I tried making my own team while avoiding the meta mons I was running into every game. It’s taken a lot of trial and error (and advice from this sub) and this is what I’ve come up with. I just went on vibes for the stat spreads, if anyone could help fine tune that.

This team feels great. Currently masterball 3 on an 8 game win streak and I feel like I have an answer to almost every matchup I run into.

I’ve ran wide guard and quick guard and protect on gallade but I felt the dark coverage was more useful for the OHKO crit on girafirig.

I also feel like I’m so close to a tail room team, but the only matchups I would want to use tailwind are against trick room teams and I find it works better for me to deny their trick room instead. I’ve tried whimscott for sinistcha but I needed a ghost type for switching into fakeout/fighting type moves.

MVP is definitely araquanid. Got lucky and pulled the shiny in champions. Once you get TR and raindance up he 1 shots everything

In all honestly I’ve never been into battling until this game came out. I’m a noob so I’m learning as I go, and stealing ideas from people that wreck me. But I’m really happy with this team and I feel like it’s actually really good.

Currently in the top 100k and I’m looking to push for at least master ball 2 by end of season. Looking for any tips to tune my team up.

Gardevoir: unexpected trick room setter

Blastoise: sweeper, rapid spin for the bad matchups (scovillan, meganium, venusaur)

Aegislash: bye sneasler 👋

Helio: best counter for basculegion, dry skin great in rain

Salazzle: added him last, needed help with the archaludon matchup.
