I am so sorry to be the 6 billionth person to ask for recommendations in here but im so frazzled because I need to make a decision like yesterday, and I just feel like i dont have the time to adequately research between work/school/life.

looking to buy a gift for my dad's 70th birthday. his travel date would be the middle of next month?! (i understand im an asshat). for one old couple (sorry mom) looking for the ultimate R&R. preferably in mexico or the DR. the quality of the beach and the food are their 2 main priorities. they wont be leaving the resort. if i can keep it ~3k for 5/6 nights i'd be happy. pretty much looking for the swankiest place i can afford with my sad little budget. PLZ HELP!
