Travel insurance when traveling to the US as a non-US citizen
Apologies in advance if it's been asked to death already but I wasn't able to find a consensus conclusion for what's a good travel insurance to get when visiting the US.
It seems like many of the vendors IMG / Trawick / World Nomad aren't actually that well received. I understand that travel insurance will always be a bit of a mixed bag but wanted to know what a good travel insurance to get right now would be. My use case would be 2 weeks to a month.
Hong Kong iPhone and eSIM support
I'm planning on getting an iPhone 17 Pro Max in Hong Kong. I understand that iPhones in HK have both an eSIM and a physical sim.
My question is, can I actually have 2 eSIMs active at the same time (e.g. my actual eSIM and a data eSIM when I'm traveling?). I'm ok for the physical SIM to be unused
Does ANY Edit hotel qualify for the $250 statement credit
So I haven't booked travel on Chase in a while but wanted to know how the $250 in statement credits worked.
Is the correct understanding that if I book ANY Edit hotel (2 nights or more), I automatically get $250 applied as statement credits for the following stay? I recall that some Edit hotels gave you the $100 property credit, while only a subset of the Edit hotels gave you $250 back?
Activate phone outside of the US
My phone is dying on me a bit right now as I'm traveling overseas. My current phone is on Fi & already activated.
I have an iPhone with an eSIM. I just want to buy a new iPhone that has a physical sim (but support for esim). Would it be possible to buy that phone and use Fi before I head back to the states.
I recall seeing people activate Fi before while overseas but not sure if that is still the case.
