Started a Sofubi/Retro Toy Hunt channel

A bit sofubi adjacent, hopefully thats okay! I live in Southern Japan and am always visiting little toy stores and shops. I wanted to start recording to help folks discover stores outside of the the usual Akihabara/Tokyo/Osaka type of stuff. I have a huge Google Maps list of shops I like so I'm going to try and feature all of them. I also attend lots of events so hopefully I can provide some future coverage! Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Always a bit rough on the first few goes so bear with me!

Kaiju One has a one-day license to produce a Tomie sofubi figure for Hobby Round today in Tokyo.

For those who don't know, in Japan there are events that allow creators to apply for a "one-day license" to sell merchandise from an IP (Godzilla, various anime). This license only lasts for the day or the length of the event and only for in person purchases at the event. It is illegal to sell outside of the event by the creator.

The good news is, the company can reapply for the license at the next event so there's a chance you can pick one up next time.
