I’m sharing this because I am still in shock and feel incredibly lucky to have avoided a disaster. I recently did a deep dive into the clinic where I had a chin lipo consultation, "Premier Liposuction, LLC" in Las Vegas, and discovered that the entire practice was shut down by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners for fraud.
During my consultation, the Physician Assistant (PA), Jonathan Tyler, performed the assessment and presented himself as a "cosmetic physician." It turns out the clinic was operating illegally and misrepresenting their staff's qualifications. I have since found official records confirming that the supervising physician, Dr. Kenneth W. Adams, II, was permanently banned from performing cosmetic surgery or supervising PAs for cosmetic procedures because he was practicing beyond his scope of license. This means that the surgery I was being quoted for by Jonathan Tyler was part of an operation the state deemed illegal. I'm hoping my bank can give me my money back in light of all this.
