Took the preview ride today and honestly I like the studio. They blacked out the cycling room windows to make it more Soulcycle and there is writing on the wall. Once class starts the room gets really dark. Tomorrow is a full day of community rides so if you are around definitely check it out!

I took Eric and that was my first time with him, I liked him a lot. I have not been riding as much as I used to and I am excited to ride more.

It also sounds like Soulcycle riders are priority over EQX. There are 30 spots open for Soulcycle riders and 10 for EQX members reserved.

Excited to watch how it progresses and to support the instructors.

EDIT: to add that when I booked at noon for community rides tomorrow i felt that similar endorphin rush from peak soul days of watching bikes get booked. Haven’t seen that in some time.

I got out of work today all happy which quickly turned to anxiety when I saw attempted login from a device not my own. Then I saw emails that my email and phone number have been changed on my account. Then I saw emails of person trying to transfer money from my external bank account that is connected to chime.

Joke was on them that I didn’t have any money in my chime account since i just use it as back up and I had luckily reached my limit of instant transfer from other bank account.

It took maybe 20-30 mins getting a rep and another maybe 30 or so mins going through all the verification process but I am able to access my account again. Immediately canceled my cards and am getting new ones with new numbers. Admittedly i did not have 2FA so immediately enabled that. This was all annoying but a good reminder to use 2FA on everything. I also was lucky I didn’t have any money in my account currently.

I am back in my app and have my account but I definitely am scarred.

Had such an annoying shift. Honestly for how good i have it at this place i am ok with a crappy shift , probably the worst in my three months i have worked at my restaurant. It was a middle school graduation and there were so many children!!!!!

The parents were inpatient, the kitchen was backed up. I ended up just tipping out all my support staff more and taking a hit because it was such a shtty night.

I also am still new so I feel the all eyes on me
Plus I am the only woman server.

I am fine. Sht happens but damnnnn lol tonight really tested me.

I started working for this family owned restaurant almost three months ago. I go back and forth between two of the locations. My favorite location is in a high traffic area with a lot of other restaurants around. When I am walking to work from the car I will always see other servers from other restaurants walking to their restaurants.

Today as I walked to my restaurant for dinner shift I passed a server baddie going to her job. We both gave each other this knowing smile. I haven’t seen her but she was carrying an apron and dressed like a server as was I. It was a moment of both of us knowing what the other is about to deal with. It was cute and made me smile.

As tired and annoyed as I can get at times I still love the connections I get to make with people who just get it. I love us.

I also am the only woman server at this new job and one of the youngest. (Which is hilarious because I am 32)

and I do miss working with girlies so maybe thats why that moment was extra cute today lol. I told one of my coworkers about it and he started laughing at me lol
