Is this normal for timing on Instant Loans?

I made my third and final instant loan payment earlier this month. I saw the little message about how I'll know if I'm eligible again for another one next month, but i opened my app today after making a cash deposit and noticed i have the tile again saying I'm eligible for the instant loan now? Does this happen to people by chance or is there something off?

Issue with promotional SpotMe bonus

As you can see in the photo, the banner says $50 SpotMe bonus when you upgrade to Chime card and make a purchase. I did that and it's now been over two weeks and still no bonus. I called and a rep told me that this was independent of the direct deposit requirement. Still no luck.

Mypay/instant loan question

Hi there! I’m a little late on paying my instant loan and now I don’t have any mypay, even though my direct deposit dropped and I paid off my old mypay. Does anyone know if I pay my instant loan payment will I get immediate access to my mypay or will I have to wait for another paycheck?

So confused right now

I know this topic has been done TO DEATH, but I still can't find an answer to my question. So I have had a white debit card (which expires in October btw) and i saw the offer on the app for the new chime (or is it prime?) card...I assumed it was just a replacement for my soon to be expired debit card so I ordered it, and it just arrived. Its the green card. The letter that came with it said nothing about whether its a credit or debit card, etc. So I'm wondering 1) Is it a debit or credit card? 2) If it is a credit card, is there already a line of credit on it? 3) Is my white debit card still active, and will I still need to order a new one since it's expiring soon? Thank you

HOLD NEVER GOT TAKEN OFF

Okay so i made a mistake of making my debit card as a default for charging stations for my EV. Normally when I charge my car it puts a 51$ hold.

My credit builder card after charging the hold will update and so will my actual balance.

HOWEVER

with my debit card its been 2 weeks the hold price updated but the actual balance never did, I’m still charged 51$ even tho the final transaction receipt updated.

This is actually ridiculous how much longer do i need to wait. i went on a 20hr roadtrip and im expecting 300$ back due to the price differential

Disputes and that 10 day thing

I was wondering I have a dispute for $420 cause the people I bought a product from and had a warrantee on ditch out of the US. So I can’t fulfill the warranty and the bike is broke so I can’t use it. Anyways I remember the last 2 disputes I had to do a few years ago came back to me in 10 business days and they went on to investigate and I won the dispute after 90 days. Do they still do that?

If you make an ACH deposit from an external bank, Chime automatically pays off your MyPay balance with it. Absolutely unacceptable.

My $300 is gone. I know I can get another MyPay loan to replace it, but I'd either need to pay a fee or wait up to 24 hours for no fee. Even though I've had my direct deposit come on the same day and from the same company every week for over a year, Chime thinks a much smaller ACH deposit from a credit union is suddenly my new paycheck. Both an agent and a supervisor told me "tough luck try just depositing cash next time" because the system can't differentiate a bank transfer and a direct deposit. I work at a competitor of Chime's and we absolutely can see if an ACH deposit is from an employer payroll or a bank. Anyway, I'm going to stick to using my other bank for ACH deposits from now on since I can't risk Chime grabbing my money before it's due.

Chime closed my account after cashing my PAYROLL check in

I'm unsure what to do, last week my new job gave me a paper check because my trainer didn't submit my DD info in time. Had trouble with that because I lost my id so I finally decided to use chime since I could find anywhere to cash it. Didn't think it'd be an issue, I've gotten direct deposits to chime for years.

Wrong, woke up trying to check my account for the check so I could get school clothes and food, red bar that says your account is closed. I check my email and see an email saying the check is cleared and 3 mins after that an account closure , violated terms and services. They'll mail out a check in 14 business days minimum. I'm so frustrated and in tears I haven't even called yet. I genuinely don't know how to go about this , I don't do anything illegal I pay bills through chime besides cash app it's my most used cards and I've never had it on more than one device at a time except a brief period months ago where my phone screen was broken. I'm at a complete loss on what to do like completely I have no money I already live paycheck to paycheck .

Has ANYONE gone through something similar

Chime prime 5% cash back card

I've been upgraded to Chime prime and I've thought about getting the card. But I'm not sure if it's a credit or debit card? Does it replace your original debit card? I don't want to do that it's connected to all my accounts/auto pay etc. Plus I already have a Discover card with 5% cash back, although only for certain things per quarter. Is the Chime card different than that? Is it worth it?

Chime Card Balances Question

One of my FAVORITE features that Chime offers is the Credit Builder account with a separate balance. I can take $ from my paycheck in my checking account and put it into my Credit Builder for gas/groceries/takeout, and then funnel bills through my checking account without having to watch the balance while waiting for bills to process so that nothing has a chance of bouncing. They're completely separate and it's a great way to track my budget.

Everything about the new Chime Card sounds incredible, however, it combines both balance into one, and I'm trying to figure out how that is a benefit for anyone. I love the idea of the extra perks, and I love the idea of using 1 card for everything (run as credit for CB or debit for Checking) but I just can't commit to the single pool.

For people like me, what are some ideas to manage this? Can you put a credit builder limit or something? It's such an odd concept to wrap my head around. Thanks!

Chime Investing?

What are your thoughts on the new investment portfolios that Chime recently introduced? I already have a well-established 401k stock investing portfolio, but I thought it wouldn’t hurt to add another $25 to my Chime portfolio each week.

Instant Loan Possibility

I was offered a $1,000 Instant Loan, which allowed six months to pay off. I was late a few times towards the end because my Instant Loan Autopay being shut off, but Chime pulled the payments automatically after being 90 days past due. That wad my 3rd Instant Loan. My previous two Instant Loans were each $500. Those two were both paid off earlier than the three month repayment timeline.

I’m Chime Prime due to my being paid in excess of $3,000 over 34 days.

My MyPay (once my 3rd Instant Loan was repaid in full) is currently at $300, with SpotMe of $75.

I know there’s a 15 day cooldown after the 3rd Instant Loan, and I was told that it wouldn’t be reevaluated for a 4th Instant Loan until my next DD, which is this Sunday the 23rd.

Has anyone that was previously late/delinquent on their prior 3rd Instant Loan get offered their 4th Instant Loan 30+ days after (or however many days after, come the time of their next DD), and if so, was the offer for the 4th Instant Loan higher or lower than their 3rd?

Thanks in advance to those who’ve experienced an Instant Loan delinquency who were still offered Instant Loans after repaying in full!

What Do You Mainly Use Your Green Chime Card For? What Do You Mainly Use Your White Chime Visa Debit Card For?

I'm asking because I'm planning to put $500 to $700 on both of them. How much money have you had on both of your cards at one time? What is the best way to protect your account from hackers/fraud? I want to make sure that I can protect my money and keep my account as safe and as secure as possible. The fact that people are people are getting their money stolen constantly is really scary and makes me terrified to put money in my account.

Chime black card

So I received the black card and tried to activate it on the app but it won’t let me. Message says “something went wrong etc”. The app shows the old cvv and expiration number yet the pic of the card is black. I’ve tried inputting the new cvv number and won’t work. Anybody else have or has this problem. And trying to get somebody at Chime who does more than read from a script is impossible.

Trying to get customer support is a joke

Had an issue last week and customer service is basically useless. I try with the chat bot, and it misunderstands what I’m needing and then tells me I need to do a phone call instead. Support over the phone is difficult to understand, and basically no help. I want to use either chat or email so there’s a record of the conversation but of course they’ve made that pretty much impossible. I’ve always liked the convenience and lack of fees with chime but I’m about to close my account altogether and find a new bank since they refuse to assist in resolving a situation that led to me being out $400.
