Curious question
Is the chime card something I should upgrade to? I need to know the ups and downs about it from my experts who have experience with it

Is the chime card something I should upgrade to? I need to know the ups and downs about it from my experts who have experience with it
I did not open this account.
Email says that debit cards were sent to someone in a different state. I have their name, address and phone number.
Obviously my SS number has been compromised.
Last month my Chime savings account paid 3.5% annual. This month it is only 0.75%. Not even worth it. None of my other online savings accounts (Bask, Barclays, Paypal) have dropped like this, so it's not the market. What gives, Chime?
Had a fraudulent charge on my account.
I locked my cards instantly!!!
I call chime to report it within 10min of the charge.
I was assured by 2 separate agents that my money would be refunded.
Just got an email denying the dispute!!
How the hell are you going to tell me you did an investigation and concluded that I made this chagre.
There is ZERO account activity with any type of store or website like this.
( petsmart)
I don't have any pets, and no one is authorized to use my cards or account.
No one has access to either.
Not gonna lie, looking into other financial institutions.
I've been with chime for years! I've never filed a dispute before and this is how you treat me?
In my last post, I spoke about a d*spute and it got deleted which is neither here nor there…
But I’m here today to say if you can get off Chime, get the hell off. I mentioned briefly in that post how I was scammed. The scam in question was for car insurance which is illegal by both state and federal law and in my case, a felony because the people who scammed me made fake insurance policy documents. I only found out about the whole thing on June 10th because my car got fucked and I couldn’t file a claim. So obviously, I filed a you know what so I can maybe recover my lost money.
And Chime basically told me no error occurred despite me providing them with all of the chat records, the police report, the FBI IC3 report, and TDI report, among other things. I literally gave them everything and they said no error occurred. 🫠
I requested the investigation notes so we’ll see if they’ll actually send me them but I also decided to escalate things and email The Bancorp bank, but also Chris, Ryan, and even Matt at Chime in order to hopefully get this resolved. Because hello… 😭 I’ve seen so many people say Chime is never helpful in normal scam situations, but damn, they were REALLY unhelpful this time around. I should’ve left when I didn’t receive my sign on bonus,,
Just a word of warning to anyone out there. Chime is probably not your best option and I’m sure there’s something better than them out there if a brick-and-mortar bank isn’t an option for you.
To lead off, I don't use on line gaming. I got hit with a $318 charge from Epic Gaming thar came through while I was standing in the middle of a Scout camp. Filed a dispute of course and they denied it. So how can I appeal the denial? I looked carefully at the email they sent and I don't see anything there. Help!
I occasionally get random push notifications that a transaction was declined from something that's clearly fraudulent, but it only shows in the push notification and not in the app notifications, not in the app transactions, and the help center doesn't find it either. I've replaced my cards numerous times and I've changed my password numerous times with 15 randomly generated characters. How does this keep happening? Why is there no information about the thing they're sending me a push notification for?
Edit: after contacting support through the support chatbot, then forwarded to the specialist team, they found these transactions that were found nowhere else and that the support chat agent nor the support chat bot could find. They were declined as the fraudsters who obtained my previously-compromised card we're trying to use it again, but it obviously declined as the card was cancelled and a new one was issued.
I don’t know what’s going over there at Chime but they’ve really upped their support game. Seriously, 5 Star Experience! It felt like I was at the Four Seasons, even the hold music was doing what it needed to 😂😂😂😂 Good Job Guys!!
So I have 2 jobs, one I get direct deposit on OnePay, and the other on Chime. OnePay will pay me on a Friday if my scheduled payday is on Monday, which is amazing. However, the deposit on chime is for my part time job, but I always get the deposit on the scheduled payday- so not early at all.
Thinking of making my full time’s deposit on Chime too so I can quality of Chime Premium & get the 3.75% APY. I’ve read online that the time your deposit hits is entirely dependent on your employer. Is this the case? Do any of yall get your deposit on a Friday if your payday is on a Monday?
Why did I receive chime prime if I don’t make $3000? I checked my direct deposit history and it doesn’t add up to $3000 in any of the months, is there other ways of qualifying for chime prime?
I activated a cashback deal for Aldi in June then shopped at Aldi on June 10th. Usually my cashback Deals credit around 10 days later. Some deals have taken longer in the past so I trusted the process hoping the Aldi cashback would come. Around July 1st I want to say i dont remember the date another Aldi deal came around so i activated it bc its a pretty good deal it would worth it to me to use again for a few items while im in the area as long as the first one eventually credits. Anyway fast forward to today July 3rd still no Aldi cashback credit. So I decided to call customer service twice to be talked to in circles. First call they mentioned it expired in 4 hours I explained thats untrue 40 minutes later they told me I wouldnt get it because i told them the wrong date initially. I said the 20th while i was explaining usually i have the cash back in 10 days from the transaction which was the 10th. We worked through it was actually the 10th in the first few minutes of the conversation so I didnt understand like I said on the phone with them for 42 minutes. Ultimately they can see that but okay my fault
i said have a good day that itd call back. 2nd call Theyre saying its because this deal has to be used it 4 hours after its activated which some deals that is true for example like Wendy's. But as you can see in these screenshots of the Aldi deal that is not true. It expires in several days after activation not hours. In the beginning of this called the agent asked me for screenshots of the deal back in june which i dont have. I dont screenshot every deal i activate i didnt know i should. Later in the conversation she refused to accept screenshots of the current deal even after demanding that all their deals expire in 4 hours period. Has anyone else had ridiculous things like this happen?? I dont understand why they just wont make it right or give me the option AGAIN to share with them the screenshots after getting a bit gruff that all their deals have to be used in 4 hours which is simply untrue. I feel CRAZY frustrated.
I did a mobile check deposit last Friday-Chime told me it would be available today-It still hasnt posted on my account-Is there any particular time of the day the money should be available
Today makes the 10th business day for my open dispute while under review. What time of the day does the provisional credit usually post? There is still nothing showing in my account for the credit as of now. Does it happen around the end of the day?? I really need my money back 😞
So I just started a new job so my last direct deposit from my old job was June 18th. My new direct deposit won't hit for another 2 weeks. Somebody sent me money today on chime, and mypay snatched it. Even with it paid off, it still shows $0 as my available mypay balance. Will it not reset until my direct deposit hits in about 2 weeks or will it reset in a few days? I really needed that money man😫.

This is just so ridiculous to me, if someone from chime support who can actually speak English can help me with this, I’d greatly appreciate it.
I recently started my own business, so my payroll stopped being on a scheduled direct deposits, instead they are mostly transfers from my business bank account. I have deposited and spent more than $10,000 in both May and June, but somehow my Chime prime status got moved down to Chime Plus.
I tried calling support, but couldn’t get any answers from anyone that wasn’t a script. I am more than tripling the requirement for Chime Prime, how on earth does this even happen?
So Sunday I try to order a phone off of T-Mobile when I completed the order it took the money but did not go through it’s currently Friday I contacted chime support asking when do they think the charge will come off and they keep saying they don’t see the pending charge on their end but I still see it and money hasn’t gone back into my account. I’m just wondering how long this charge is gonna take to drop so I can get my money back.
Although the Chime sign up page says Chime offers fraud protection and insured funds, Chime does not honor any fraud recovery. Someone hacked my Chime account, changed my contact info and sent over $6000 to different fake accounts. I filed a claim with Chime and they said they would investigate and get back to me. Instead they just closed my account and locked me out. When I called for help they said they cannot talk to me because the account is closed. Then they just hung up on me. There was no followup, they just kept the money and did not insure or attempt recovery. I never received any followup whatsoever and now they refuse to talk to me about it.
The app says that it's a federal banking holiday so they won't be processing deposits until the following business day. I'm just very confused is tomorrow actually an observed bank holiday and if so what does that really mean. For instance my parents and most of my friends who have credit unions banks will still be open tomorrow
