Help us find the perfect spot!

Alright so we’re in a dilemma (a privileged, fun, and exciting one)! We both want similar but different vibes for our honeymoon (me F37, her F30) in March 2027. We live in the Midwest and we’d like to go out of country. I’ve never been out of country at all but she has been to Europe a handful of times.

We’d love to go somewhere for 5-7 nights total, and don’t want our flights/travel time to take too much of our trip time away.

Initially, she mentioned wanting an all-inclusive resort where we don’t have to think about meals. She’s much more of a lay at the pool/beach and read or listen to music gal. And I’m a bit more adventurous- I like hiking, I’d want to try snorkeling or zip lining for the first time, and maybe try some local food. We both love to read, love live music or entertainment, aren’t super foodies but like good food, and don’t typically drink more than 2 nights a week regularly. I’m the planner in the relationship, and she does fully trust me. She said she wouldn’t mind going to a non-all inclusive spot, but I’m just a bit overwhelmed by the idea of 1- choosing a honeymoon spot and 2- going out of country for the first time and not knowing areas.

So I’m here!

I’d love to keep budget to $7k with flights if able to, but slightly flexible.

Is there a spot that automatically comes to mind to anyone? Any suggestions on any pieces I’m missing? Anywhere we can do all of it or does one of us really need to compromise and just plan a separate trip to do both ideas eventually?

Thanks so much in advance!!

Navy Blue Jackets Hat?

I lost my partner’s hat in a lake last summer and haven’t stopped looking for it online since. It’s a navy blue hat with a white logo, no type on the back. The logo is the Columbus Ohio Blue Jackets hockey team! It’s her favorite hat and I’d love to find one to buy to replace it.

New simulation racing bar in Grandview

Just saw a new spot in Grandview attached to Agave and Rye called Outlaw Sim Racing + Bar. Last ditch effort to keep Agave up and running or actual cool new addition to Columbus?
