Oil Change, EGR Clean, PCV/Oil Catch and Cat Shield!

Purchased this white CT recently and I decided to do a little preventative maintenance this weekend. I changed the oil and did a much needed EGR Valve, Cooler and Pipes, changed the PCV, added an oil catch can and added a basic Catalytic Converter Shield. I also cleaned the car up inside and out, fixed a few minor things changed out some lights and cleaned the headlights up. The EGR cleaning was much needed, everything was covered in carbon build up. I didn't get pictures of before because it looks the same as everyone else's that were clogged up lol. Everything cleaned up nice, the new PCV and oil catch should help keep the manifold clear. I still have some maintenance to complete but I am overall happy with how this turned out!

Looking at a CT200H have a question about Hybrid Battery

Hello. I'm looking at this Lexus CT200h and everything seems to be in good condition. There is no engine light in the dash but when I scan the car there is a permanent code for replacing hybrid batteries.

The car drives fine, enters ev mode just fine and doesn't have any issues driving whatsoever. And like I said no engine light or triangle of death.

Could it be this car was sitting for a while or just that code just come up after a certain mileage or timeframe automatically?

She loves her sunny window time. 🌞

I unfortunately don't get too much sun in my place being the first floor, half of the place is under ground too, so not much sun gets in through the windows. Thankfully this one window sticks out a bit and does get the rays pretty good during the afternoon. I tried putting a little bed there for her but she never sat in it, but I got this small blanket and she loves it!

What would you charge for 4th gen?

I have a 4th gen that has roughly 160K miles on it. I'm thinking of selling it.

Pretty average wear and tear inside and out. Except for the aftermarket bumper which someone hit in my parking lot recently and damaged it pretty bad, and the minor passenger fender dent. The vehicle is in pretty good shape otherwise.

The dash has some cracks, which I filled in with silicone, seats have some cracking but the driver's side is the worst. Paint and interior is pretty clean otherwise. Very little rust. The timing belt, battery, power steering fluid, lines and reservoir, tires and brakes and front cv axles. have all been replaced recently. It has aftermarket headlights, taillights and fog lights. The engine is in good shape, will pass emissions but will need the manifolds done in the near future. It will need some suspension work too, minor things like ball joints and tie rod ends soon.

In this current state what would you guys charge.

Got hit, question about insurance.

Added this bumper about a month ago. Really enjoy the way it looks but not only a month after install someone just hit it in the parking lot no less. The bumper is bent in, moved over to the passenger side and definitely beyond repair already. I got the other person's insurance but I'm curious how they handle aftermarket parts especially when this wasn't my fault. I can't imagine they'll total this out since the frame doesn't look bent where the bumper connects. Has anyone experienced an after market bumper being damaged and it is not building your fault? How will insurance handle this?
