Check engine light calling for gasket ? Help

Changed my transmission fluid for the first time in my ‘14 with 122k miles. Pretty frustrating experience to say the least. Watched many videos but none of them showed which panel to take off until the last video I watched. Had to go to harbor freight to get a hex bit set too.

Next time will be much better.. hopefully lol

I am hoping they come up with a betterversion that doesn't clog up so bad, asking for a friend.

I took a look at a 2017 CT with 154,000 miles. The stealership is looking to get 12000 out the door. I have some leverage because they say it’ll likely need to be a cash sale due to most lenders not willing to loan over the 150,000 mile threshold. The car overall looked to be in decent shape with some minor body damage and the rims having a lot of curb rash. It needs new tires and a new headlight assembly. I planned to take it to a shop for a PPI but wanted to get some opinions from others. The car had two previous owners and was purchased by the dealership at an auction as a repo. I feel like I could try to offer 10,000 cash. Hoping to get some opinions from others.

Hey everyone,

My steering wheel has started vibrating and I’m trying to figure out why. One mechanic thought it was the EGR, so I had the EGR valve, cooler and manifold replaced, but the vibration is still there.

It seems to have started after I had the clockspring replaced. The steering wheel was fitted correctly and torqued to 50 Nm.

It’s particularly noticeable on cold starts and while idling, then becomes much less noticeable once the car warms up.

Has anyone experienced anything similar with a Lexus CT200h?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Car ran fine, no issues and then I had to replace my 12 V battery. After to replacing it, The car will power on, but all the lights on the dashboard light up and it will not go into ready mode. It is not throwing any codes and I've tried to reset the computer by disconnecting the white wire in the fuse box and the 12V battery, made sure key fob works,checked all my fuses, and verified voltage of new battery is good. Also made sure that the orange disconnect for the hybrid system is installed correctly.

Any other suggestions? Anyone else run into this issue?

I'm looking for something nice, reliable and with good gas mileage. I think the CT200h is a good option.

Currently looking at some units with around 100.000 km (60.000 miles). Are they reliable? What are some things you like or don't like about this car and I should be wary of?

As a bit of context, my family has always owned different generations of Toyota Corollas and I want something a bit nicer since but mantaining that staple Toyota reliability. I've been driving for a while now, just looking to buy a car of my own and not have to borrow someone else's.

Seller claims to be a mechanic and did all of this himself. The kicker came when he said that the vehicle will show 400k miles and claims that the number was caused by by a previous shop entering the milage incorrect. Ended up buying the AutoCheck report and came back with this:

My question is how likely is it that both those last two reading are wrong bc putting those kinds of miles on the car is insane. Also any points of concern with the engine swap (claims to also have no documentation on it due to him doing it himself)
