Hey everyone,

My steering wheel has started vibrating and I’m trying to figure out why. One mechanic thought it was the EGR, so I had the EGR valve, cooler and manifold replaced, but the vibration is still there.

It seems to have started after I had the clockspring replaced. The steering wheel was fitted correctly and torqued to 50 Nm.

It’s particularly noticeable on cold starts and while idling, then becomes much less noticeable once the car warms up.

Has anyone experienced anything similar with a Lexus CT200h?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

My steering wheel occasionally vibrates, and I sometimes hear noises when starting the car and my foot is on the break or when driving slowly while the engine is running rather than EV mode. My mechanic thinks it may be related to the EGR valve or system.

I’ve read that some people clean the EGR components, while others replace them. Has anyone had similar symptoms? Is cleaning worth it, or is replacement the better option?

If replacement is recommended, would you go with an OEM part or an aftermarket one?

For context, the car has about 216k miles, but I only drive around 5–6k miles per year.

Got a horn issue I need to replace my clockspring. I’ve tried a few aftermarket ones but despite the part numbers being correct the wires don’t all fit.

Has anyone had this issue before? Does anyone know where I can find a clockspring at a good price?

Hey everyone, I just installed an Android screen that plugs into the original head unit on my 2011 ct200h. I keep getting no signal and flickering when it goes into the lexus system/reverse camera. Anyone else come across this before? I tested this with the original screen again so I know the wire definetly works.
