What's going on at the Monterey Terrace Apartments near Rushton Park?

I walk by this apartment complex at the corner of 33rd St. So. and 12 Ave. So. almost every day and have noticed more and more of the units have been boarded up. Does anyone know why? Are they going to eventually demolish the building?

I saw this Reel just a few days ago but can't locate it again despite going through my viewed history and googling it. If I recall correctly, the man is probably in his twenties and most of the passersby are around his age. He interviews at least 6 or 7 people about their favorite English word. They all answer with just a single word without elaborating. I can't remember anyone's specific answer, but the words were all very random. Thanks in advance!
