Emotional education

If you had to recommend one book to read to help with emotional regulation and the nervous system which book would it be?

I realise i’m stuck in fight or flight mode around everybody and anyone. I need to snap out of it and learn how to breathe.

I want a guide/story that can help with this.

which one should I read?

I have these books and I’m not sure which one to read? I haven’t read in a very long time and I want this book to be my passage to reading. I haven’t read in a very long..I’m usually an overthinker and i’m lacking motivation right now not just in reading but life generally and i’d like something that opens up my hobby of books.

If anyone has also read any of these books, could you rate them or summarise them for me please?☺️

I’m also open to recommendations
Thank you ☺️

I want to read 1 of these 4

I have these 4 books and I’m not sure which one to read? I haven’t read in a very long time and I want this book to be my passage to reading. I read about 20 pages of the course of love and it’s good, I like it but it’s very slow and a bit boring but I don’t mind. I haven’t read in a very long..I’m usually an overthinker and i’m lacking motivation right now not just in reading but life generally and i’d like something that opens up my hobby of books.

If anyone has also read any of these books, could you rate them or summarise them for me please?☺️

I’m also open to recommendations.

PS the cat i’m sitting didn’t want to move 😅

Thank you ☺️

I want to read.

Need a book.

Hi, so i’ve been searching and searching for a book i’ll be interested in enough to never want to put down but also to improve my speech and literacy. The last book I remember reading was when I was 13 about a horse and that’s all I remember. I’m 25 now for context. I have over 50 books at home that i’ve once fell in love with but never finished, always leaving the book half way. These range from fiction to self help books.

I prefer non fiction content as I want to friends with books. I just need to find one I like.

I was told to mention my favourite movies/series and I might be suggested a book I may be interested in. Right so here goes nothing -

Series -
Rick and Morty
Vampire diaries
Another self
Ginny and Georigia
Beauty and Black

Movies -
Shutter Island
Man on fire
Obsession
