This one’s the Yadea version. Still going strong. Soft and supple leather. In great condition because we take good care of it. Holding its own under the wrath and whims of a toddler. So far. Fingers crossed.

People in my recent posts have said I can’t have read these because they’re in such good condition. I spend hours reading them, sometimes 3 to 4 hours a day. Do they really look too well kept, or is this just a Reddit thing? Should I start throwing them down the stairs? Can someone teach me how to read hardcovers so that they bend like paperbacks?😂
And I’m not saying I’m there yet, but I am proud of its progress. But I have so many other books and turns out, square shelves might not be the best approach either!
Happy to get thoughts on how I can improve the arrangement and layout!
Top shelf is favorites, next down is nonfiction/learning related, next down is India whatnot, then books I had to read for school at some point, then classic literature, then everything else.
I just added The Flame of the West to my set up, I’m digging it
I moved my spouse’s finance, almanac & programming books to his ‘office’ in our one bedroom and suddenly our collection can breathe & grow.
Husband and I just crammed half our things in with my in-laws recently to try to save money and my books were not going into storage LOL. Managed to make them all fit into the common area my in-laws let us use.
I have non fiction books displayed elsewhere, some more fiction in my bedroom, along with a few stacks that don't fit these shelves, and a separate collection in another hemisphere - any ideas on storage solutions in a tiny flat will be much appreciated 😂
Having run out of bookshelf space, books have accumulated on a corner of my desk. A mix of 'read' and 'to be read'.
This is all the books I have bought the last few years. Let me know what you think about the collection and what else I should read
Extremely proud of him, just started organizing the bookshelf so any tips are appreciated!
