Really trying to improve my art game, stepped up from hearts to tulips recently!
Just upgraded from a delongi dedica and sage smart grinder pro and safe to say I'm enjoying the new setup! Will probably look to get a dual boiler in the future when I have the space but enjoying the Classika for now!
Hi everyone, I'm looking to take the leap and upgrade my setup from a delongi dedica. I recently bought a Eureka Libra grinder and now I'm on the hunt for an espresso machine. I'm comparing the ECM Classika and Profitec Jump - I know these are two different types of machines (single boiler Vs HX) but think they could both potentially work for my use case. I need something compact due to counter space and dual boilers tend to be too big or out of budget. I typically make a cortado for my partner and a flat white for myself, twice a day and use med/dark roast beans. I like the ECM but I'm concerned about the heat up time from brewing to steam temp and similarly concerned about the brew temp variation on the jump as it's a HX (I see a lot of negativity around HX on this sub). Which do you think is the better machine for my use case/setup? Also open to any other recommendations. Primarily looking at E61 as I like the aesthetics of them!
