One year since its release! Paratise.

One year since its release! Paratise.

Remember when we all got excited for goat Ivan's next sub, and it turned out to be another "I am so Till-pilled" song with dreary, miserable vibes? Yeahhhh

*My wish is to live in you like a parasite*

*You be my own private paradise*

Just some Hijabi thoughts.

As someone who became a Hijabi on her own without any parental pressure, I sometimes struggle to understand why this piece of cloth is considered so controversial. I understand there are instances where parents force you to wear it or uncomfortable scenarios where people give you a stare....but ultimately, isnt it just another piece of cloth?

Think of socks that you must wear as part of your school uniforms, even during intense heat or the undergarments you wear to maintain decency. The buisnessmen who cling to their blazers, ties, coats etc to leave an impression. I think Hijab can be viewed the same way. We can wear it as a fashionable piece of clothing to keep our hair in place and look fabulous. We don't need to imbibe a rigid and easily twisted religious angle on the Hijab. We can wear it for ourselves first and foremost before even thinking about a man and his gaze.

Plus why do some feel the need to take it off to please non-muslims? Why seek validation from them at all? Anyone who eggs on you to remove it via sublte coaxing is not worth pleasing at all.

Rant.

As an Indian Muslim, I had generally zoned out of Indian news for 2-3 years because I couldnt tolerate to read about the repetitive incidents of rape and dowry related violence against women. Not to mention the absoulte garbage quality of news reporting.

Recently, I got more active on social media to keep in touch with Muslim related issues all over the world and guess what......that particular H community keeps shoving themselves in literally every Muslim matter. Under a hadith post, under a Muslim history post with zero mention of India, under food post, under Palestine posts where they literally post memes of dead babies. They legit harass Muslims from other countries like its some side quest or something.

During yet another occurence of them shoving themselves in, I found out they use terms like "sulla" , "sulli". When I looked it up...omg man, It turned out to be a cyber crime case "sulli deal" where people auction off pictures of Muslim women as "deal of the day". The app was closed with creator arrested and was granted bail IMMEDIATELY. There was another similiar case, shortly, with the creator being bailed out. Both creators were men from H community.

Like what kind of degeneracy is that. And to use those terms against Muslims online, in present. This is not some random trolling and can inspire more crimes against us. This country also encourages those crimes by being one large pile of lawlessness.

The politicians, the ugly gremlin looking bolly actors, cheap internet and the sheer, creepy interest in Muslims are all so revolting. Is the dhumtanana dharma really not fulfilling enough for them?

Can someone develop an app or something that detects their H identity and blocks them out? Please.

I want to read any Islamic reminder that pops up on my feed. I want to sympathise and keep track on my fellow Muslims all over the world. Their struggles, their culture. Our struggles, our culture.....WITHOUT seeing *them* spread yet another form of filth, the digital kind, on our way.

What's your ideal ALNST song run?

Basically, what are some alnst songs that you love enough to manually search them up and listen to in sequential order?

I am a happier person after listening to UTTE (Till ver), Cure (IvTi ver), and Love&Peace. Back to back.

Your critique on your favourite character?

Usually, people make posts to throw salt on their least fave character. I just think a reverse post would be fun, too. Basically....what's something that raises your eyebrows when it comes to your own fave?

I think Till is a fabulous and complete character on his own, but I do still wish his comics were presented better. I get that the greyscale aesthetic was to convey a sense of gloominess, but I still wish it was coloured lol. The translation was off, too, at some points, which created confusion. It felt rushed, which is disappointing because Till fans legit waited for more than a year for his own pov comics.

I am aware most of the fanbase don't really care to analyse MiziTill outside the same old sexuality discourse....but it would've been cool to see more introspection from Till's side for Mizi. Like, he has moved on for sure, but could we get a more substantial glimpse at such a jump? It felt more of an afterthought in the comic ..kinda like "see, he has moved on...OK?!!".

When it comes to IvanTill, they have some scenes that give off gratuitous vibes. Crystal heart scene being the worst offender imo. All character relationships have negative aspects for the sake of storytelling but IvTi leaned in this aspect more. It lowkey makes Till look like some prop for Ivan, which I don't appreciate.

Also, Till deserves to show off his mug as normally as the other two male characters. Enough with the skrunkly faces lol. He legit looks like he's tolerating an awful fart stench in a bunch of official arts. 😂😵‍💫

This one has such a fun premise and beautiful art style, but now that it's nearing its completion, it has lost some charm, to be honest. The mysteries of the world got weaker, humour got duller, and the ML is mostly just decent as a character.

I would still be reading till the end, tho.

What do you think of this manhwa?

I am a recent fan of Ayumi and have heard a lot of negative opinions regarding Party Queen, most of them boiling down to the album cover picture. While the cover does look goofy, I gave the album a listen....and I LOVED it!!!

It has a sweet yet funky vibe to it. From sweet sounding "Letter" to funky sounding "NaNaNa". "Return Road" is another gem that feels like anguish.

I love Party Queen.
