Signaling flares

In the spirit of the 4th, ive decided to purchase some 37mm signaling flares from exoticfirearms. Unfortunately, the rim on 37mm casings are a little bit too thick to fit in my 40mm launcher. I tried removing the actual flare portion to possibly transfer the lift charge to a 40mm casing, but it uses black powder with a 209 primer.

My question is if anyone here has successfully reloaded some of these signaling flares with a standard copper burst disc, smokeless powder .38 S&W lift charge? Im very familiar with those as ive used them extensively in my testing of various chalk/impact rounds. Im just a bit worried about safety by just slamming a .38S&W blank behind this signaling flare.

ODB Tool Suggestion

Hey guys, I am finising up swapping my CP4 to a CP3 on my 2015 Golf TDI. I recently found out that in order to prime the new pump, I need to activate the lift pump separately. Obviously I can do this with a separate battery or something, but Im tired of using backdoor methods and would just like one of the scanner tools that can do this for me. (I also heard it can help when bleeding coolant, which im also swapping the g13 - g12evo).

My question is, what is a good scanner tool that can achieve those functions I desire? I hear the ODBeleven tool is good, but now requires a bunch of credits?? That sucks, but I honestly dont mind too much, as I wont be constantly using this tool anyway. Any better suggestions other than the ODBeleven?

Thanks

Rawtek Delete Sensor question.

Im installing the rawtek eco delete kit on my 2015 Golf and since the instructions arent updated, theres a bunch of senors that arent in use that Im unsure what to do with.

To start, I understand the one O2 sensor on the downpipe and have verified its the correct one. But since im only plugging in one, theres an extra O2 sensor in the engine bay that has nowhere to go. It looks like theres no quick disconnect fitting for it either. Also, theres a second O2 sensor under the car that was used midway through the exhaust that is also now not used. Lastly, obviously the adblue injector has nothing to plug into.

What do I do with all these loose sensors??? Do I just leave them tied out the way or am I missing something??

973 Exam scheduling??

Hey guys, I recently applied for BEM through a local post office and passed the relative 955 exam.

On May 4th, I then received an email titled “Assessment Invitation - Exam 973”. The email also states that I will receive a separate message for the date, time and location of the 973 exam. When I log into my USPS career portal, I only see my 973 exam as “Ready to test” with no date.

Im here asking if this is normal and it takes some time for them to schedule the interview? Or did they forget about me? When I applied for BEM, I received my date and time for my 955 almost immediately, so Im a bit confused and worried about the 973 and dont want to miss it. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.
