How did you feel during surgery and afterwards?
I'm starting to feel apprehensive!

Which pyjamas/nightie did you wear in hospital?
I usually don't wear anything in bed, as I don't like the fabric getting tangled around my legs. And I was thinking it might be hard to get things on and off over your leg post op. But I don't want to scare anyone!
edit: following your excellent recommendations, I went shopping today and bought a long, soft loose nightie, and some soft, loose pyjamas with shorts and short sleeves.
Where abouts does it hurt? Is is deep and achy, sharp and stabby? Is it constant or does it get worse when you do particular things?
I was expecting it to be sometime in July, but today I got a phone call and it will be at the start of June!!! Only 5.5 weeks time!
I'm a bit in shock, but also happy to be having it done. It means I will miss my choir concert, and we are having a load of work done on the house at the moment, so I will have to cross my fingers that that is more or less finished by then.
Thanks for all the help and support on here from those who have had it done before me! It makes a big difference.
