The other day someone posted and urged us to check if we are registered. Curious i checked and weirdly I wasnt. So I went through a registered. Despite being born and raised here and voting numerous times. I just went and checked again and sure enough I wasnt registered to vote. Whats going on? My husband was also removed and has to re register again

EDIT i went back and just checked right now after re registering 20 mins ago and it says " your are not registered to vote "

Lady golfer here. Yesterday we went golfing with my husband and son to a course that was new and way above my difficulty level! When I started 2.5 years ago i was getting maybe 150 for a score and could barely drive 100 yards. Yesterday when we went i was consistently driving 175 yards and my score was 102! I know thats not amazing ,but I wanted to brag for a moment. We started the day at a par 3 course ( our son works there so we golf there alot) and then went to a big person course that we had never been to! So not only did i get my best score ever BUT I also golfed 36 holes. So i broke 2 personal records in one day. Side note, holy shit am I sore lol ❤️. I hope everyone goes out today and has an equally incredible day today !!

So i got my renewal today and my insurance WENT UP 87$ a month i called to find out why. Why i have been a safe driver, no cancelations, tickets and have had continuous insurance since moving back in 2020. Well turns out last year UCP changed the rating system AGAIN and because I had a gap year, 2015-2016 .ELEVEN YEARS AGO!!!! the my " good driver" score started over and I dropped too far down to be considered a good driver anymore. I was told theyre now allowed to penalize you for gaps in your insurance going back as far as FIFTEEN YEARS . I shopped around a little stunned like no way, cant be. 3 different companies told me this. One actually tried to tell me I was quoted at 491.00. Becuase and ONLY Becuase I had that gap in my insurance. It didnt matter that i sold my car and moved out of Alberta, I was told " the government changed it and we are allowed so .... Like what the fuck is going on!?? I get that its only 87$ a month more but I am fortunate enough I can afford this. Barely ,but with some cutbacks ill be ok, but What about those who cant , what about new drivers??? Sorry for the rant im just really really REALLY frustrated !!
