Long Shot I know

But can of you EMU server admins/creators maybe link up and actually come up with 1-3 servers that don't fracture this already tiny as heck community even more? The magic of Asheron's Call was in the community and the people. Having a new server pop up every other day with the same thing someone else is doing only thins the numbers. There are a ton of people playing Asheron's Call across like 40 servers now. Imagine if ya'll could set aside your personal ambition and work together to have just a few?

[Revshare] Runes of Shadow - World/Level designer needed. (Unity)

Hey there,

I have been working solo on an online RPG named Runes of Shadows for a while and I am at the point where I would like to get some level work started. I would like to stay programming myself, so I am seeking someone who is interested in building a large open world for the game.

I am seeking someone who first is ok with Revshare. I do not have any additional funds to hand out right now. I am also seeking someone who is comfortable with open world, terrain streaming, LoD/Chunking systems. You will have pretty open freedom on the map/level/dungeons etc. I have some general ideas for your direction, but overall this would be your aspect of Runes of Shadow and would be your baby. As mentioned, this is a Unity project.

I am based out of the US, and would prefer someone around here/Canada. I know that is a steep ask but between timezones/communication etc. this is my preferred. However, if this is something your are interested in and live outside of that, just let me know, we might be able to make it work.

So, I suppose a little about the game. Well first off I have some dev videos on my youtube channel, you can watch them here to see the progress and where the game is at: https://www.youtube.com/@RunesofShadow/videos

The game is heavily inspired by some of the older RPG games out there. I am trying to go for a game that is about the journey with friends, not rushing to the "end game". I am using a stylized look as I feel it is easiest to keep up with looks over the lifecycle of development. I have a library of assets, materials etc. that you will have complete access to.

There is much more that we can talk about, but honestly I am trying to avoid a mega wall of text. If you are interested, ping me here or message and we can swap Discord names and talk there.

Thanks,
Chris
