Need advices and tips in making my very own JoJo Part (!)

(MY ENGLISH IS ASS. Don’t be surprised if I sound downright stupid and corny sometimes.)

The art I made depicts the protagonist of the part – Joy Joyce, with the poster of Blumhouse’s “Sweetheart” movie as a reference! The part will be written instead of drawn, cuz as you can see, I’m not that good at art. Joy’s Stand is currently unnamed, but it’s a power-type close-range Stand that makes any object it touches with its fist grow out functional wings, allowing her to make objects fly and send them where needed, and possibly, other applications (?).

Now the plot!!! The part is set in 1956, in an unknown uninhabitable island. Joy, the protagonist of the story, was on the plane flying to San Huan, Puerto Rico, believing that changing places will finally help her let go of her past. For an unknown reason, the entire plane immediately stopped functioning, free falling onto the Atlantic Ocean. She doesn’t remember anything right after that, as she found herself in an island the size of a city, located in the middle of nowhere but water. An unknown power within her mind saved her from the initial explosion of the plane, landing her on the island. After meeting a person that claimed to live here for centuries, she found out that this island is not located on any map in the world. Any ship that departures from its shore always comes back no matter what, as if the island attracted these ships and planes to it, without a chance to escape.

Right now, I only made the start of the plot. Main characters and the part title are still in development! I will be happy if you will give me advices and tips on how to make a coherent story, how to properly write characters and their development, and WHAT SHOULD I AVOID IN MY STORY AT ALL COSTS.

What is the least survivable part in your opinion?

IMO Part 5 had the harshest environment out of all maybe except Part 6, but I’m ready to hear what you think

Soooo what exactly does this Stand do?

The fight ended and Mundra got killed, but I still can’t put my head on the exact idea behind this Stand. I’m open to see your own interpretations on this Stand ability

My updated take on the Light Rod Stand

I tentatively called it “Machine Gun" as the song Machine Gun by Jimi Hendrix, which is about the Vietnam War, sung from the perspective of both a drafted American soldier and a Vietnamese civilian, explaining how the Stand’s appearance is formed by two rods. The Stand is blind and deaf, only capable of sensing what it touches. Because of that, User must likely relies on GPS signals created from electronic devices such as phones, computers or tracking bracelets to send the Stand where its needed.

『Rhinestone Eyes』by Me.

The Stand’s User is unknown. Upon activation, every living being within a huge radius will start to gradually turn into stone, with their organic tissues literally starting to petrify. The secret behind 『Rhine Stone Eyes’』ability is that the petrification rate is determined by the organism body’s exposure to light. 『Rhine Stone Eyes』can also flash a bright light from its own eyes at the direction it is looking at for a split second in range of 3 meters, allowing it to instantly turn someone into stone when flashed. The Stand notably charges up for several seconds to do the flash, with their eyes glowing as an indicator. Once a living being is turned into stone, they cannot be turned back unless the Stand’s User is killed.

What do you think would be Speed King’s full extent?

The full extent of this Stand’s power is never revealed in the story, so I will be glad to see all of your theories on this

What are your headcanons on how did some Stand Users found out about their ability?

For example, Notorious B.I.G. Maybe the Stand was sentient when Carne was alive and told him about the ability, but that seems like a stretch. Or Miu Miu — how did she find out that Jail House Lock locks someone’s memory down to three pieces at once when someone goes beyond the visiting room? I’m curious to see your headcanons on these and maybe other Stand Users.

What do you think happens after Baby Face completes its task and comes back to Melone? Does he disown it?

We’ve never got to see that part of the Stand, so I’m curious to see your headcanons.
