Hi all, I have a clean factory gmt2 that’s 2 years old but the movement needs replaced. The issue is the the watch winder will not keep it wound anymore.

I know many will say it might be better to just buy a new watch then to have it fixed when comparing the price, but I was thinking about maybe doing it myself, maybe learning a new skill.

What would I need to attempt this? Does it make sense to replace the crystal with a deep crystal? Change the lubricant fluid?
