Has anyone here ordered a mini excavator right from AliExpress?

I'm looking at small 1-1.5 tone machines to do some silly little tasks around my property and just cause I want a friggin mini excavator haha. They seem to be advertised around 1500-2500 on the website. I tried to order one and I got messages saying to cancel my order, they couldn't honor the price and after I got a refund they would send me a quote for a machine. What did these units actually end up costing you guys?

I am not worried about quality really, I know I'm getting what I pay for here. I am a ticketed welder, millwright and I have worked as a heavy duty mechanic in the past, I will be able to figure one of these out.

Also I'm located on Canadaland.

Chromebook recommendation

Hi! This is probably the hourly "what Chromebook should I buy?" post but I genuinely appreciate any help!

Lightly I have been thinking of purchasing a Chromebook. I have a gaming laptop I bought in 2022 and it has been great, but I rarely play games and I don't really look at large 3d models for work anymore. I use my phone for 95% of my computer use but looking for something a little more convenient for that last 5% than my big old gaming laptop and brick of a charger.

I would mostly be using it for invoicing and banking stuff for work, as well as general internet-ing. I also work out of town once in a while, a week or so at a time and although I rarely play video games, something I can stream my Xbox to would be cool once in a while.

I would prefer something on the smaller side, definitely not full size laptop size

Something faster, I really don't like slower computers and waiting on basic shit.

decent battery life ( that being said my current laptop since new has had about 1.5 hours so anything is better than that) so I'd be happy to lean on this a bit

Also one odd thing I dunno if I could ever get on a Chromebook, let alone a small one is a number pad would be nice but not super critical

I dunno I'm not really a computer guy, I'm not brand biased, I just want something nice that will last a while.

Thank you in advance!

Is the current nutdriver super crappy?

This morning I smoked my nut driver. I bought it about 8-10 years ag,o used off a sheet metal guy. It was the OG fuel one, when I got it it was already thundered. I used it for random jobs, at home, pulling screws from crates, small cladding jobs at work and putting down small sections of decking. It most saw self tappers into 1/4 or thinner steel. I never had to predrill up to 1/4, it absolutely pounded them through. Anyway back to this morning, it let out a puff of smoke and just died. I was able to borrow one to finish the job so I didn't need to go out and come back. The one I borrowed was the current fuel one, it was absolutely terrible, it would melt every screw tip almost, even if I pre drilled, it did like sending screws through 1/4, they would break or gum up or the drill would stall. I was extremely disappointed. I need to replace mine but I don't know what to do, the one I borrowed was absolutely insufficient for my needs.

Are they just really shit now or what?
