Disappointed in Palladium shoes

I bought several Palladium shoes since I thought it would be French brand and made the EU. None of the shoes were EU-made. Either Myanmar or Vietnam. Are there any robust, durable shoes that are EU made. I like the rubber toe protection. Which alternatives made in the EU are there?

Bruker Laser repair

Scored this from our Lab. It was inside of our MALDI TOF - so basically that thing was able to fire 150kW for nanoseconds. It seems it is a 808 (3W Jenoptik - blue box) pumped YAG with attenuator. Any Idas how to repair it - RS232 is silent and the main board morses "SOS" with LED. Could I just drive Jenoptik without the Mainboard?

Watch band out of silver

I like my casio watches (A158, W91, W59) but keep getting extreme skin irritations on the wrist. I wash the watch bands often and want now a more anti-bac watch band. Are there pure silver watchbands available for casio? Any recommendations?

Laibungen verputzen

Ich habe recht schlecht gemachte Laibungen an einer Nebentür, die ich verbessern will. Streckmetall geht nicht um die Ecke, kein Winkel reingelegt.

Womit soll ich es am besten zuputzen damit es später nicht abfällt?

Wie Armierung / Winkel dran machen (und ob) - Teil vom Wandputz abstemmen und dann überlappend?
