Finally cleared for FET#1 questions

Finally got cleared to proceed with FET 2 days before! I am 33 y/o. Started IVF in May. Long suffering from endo and also diagnosed with mild focal adenomyosis. Had ER in early July and made 2 blasts. PGTA testing is not available in my country. Had ERA and hysteroscopy on 10th August and was detected with late receptive i.e. 114 hrs of progesterone exposure instead of the standard 120 hours and hysteroscopy findings were normal uterine cavity but mild cervical stenosis. Was Started to zoladex and after 1 month on 14th sep finally got the go ahead with FET. (doc initially prescribed for 2 months 2 doses but after my last scan he was happy to proceed with FET) I will be transferring both the embryos as as per my doc one the embryos is of average quality and the other of excellent quality and I dont mind having twins.

I am just happy to get the go ahead finally.

Would be really glad if I can get your inputs on:

  1. Because of cervical stenosis my FET has been flagged to be done under general anesthesia. Is there any additional risks to that?

  2. Women (biologocal) with adeno-endo golden combo, is there anyone who fell pregnant from their 1st FET?

  3. I have been prescribed with 2mg estradiol 2pill thrice a day (total 6 pills) and Estogel thrice 1 pump on inner thighs. Is it too much of estrogen exposure?

During my ERA cycle my uterine lining went at its most 7mm.

  1. And lastly, how long after starting estrogen can I expect the FET to happen?

Need advice

I am 33F, husband 37M. I have had 2 endometriosis surgery in 2021 and 2023. Grade 3 endo. AmH 2.47 ng/ml, TSH 2.5, prolactin 15.8. Husband has good numbers of sperm but motility issues- Asthenoteratozoospermia. We have started our IVF journey from May. As per my doctor, my uterine environment is "hostile" due to adenomyosis (yeah another feather on my hat!) And they need to focus on making the baby stick. They said they will follow ling protocol.Their plan is to do the egg retrieval first and then suppression treatment for 2-3 months as required and then do the FET. Doctor said husband's sperm issue is not that worrisome as we will be doing ICSI anyway.

I started oncombined irthe control pill from 5th June. I was advised for my next scan on 17th and if all goes okay they said they will start with some hormone balancing injection (most likely buseriline) till I have my next period/withdrawal bleed. And from the day 2 of that cycle stims will begin.

Now I visited the clinic on 17th, but after scanning the doctor told me to continue the BCP for 1 more week and then to come for another scan and injections. I got nervous and specifically asked if there are some issues, if I am not responding appropriately to thepills. He said no all is fine.

So I have my next scan scheduled on 23rd and by then 18 days of bcp. I worry whether this will oversuppress my ovaries? Btw in my very first scan around a month ago there were around 20-22 follicles in total from both ovaries.

I am so worried! Anybody has any such experience with long protocol? I am so sad about my uterus being messed up with the mild to moderate adeno I never knew I had.

My husband lives 500km away for his job. While he tries to attend as many as appointments he can, still I have to attend most of them alone. So it's sometimes overtly depressing. Also I m on bipolar meds which after a consultation with my psychiatrist, tapering down has begun. AND I have a stupidly stressful job!!! Plus my current doctors on our first appointment mentioned that we should began just afterour last surgery for a better chance. Don't I know that!

I guess I just need some hugs and positivity from my fellow warriors 😞
