I’m confused, new ending for Anniversary vs original?

I played TLC as a kid and remember fighting Jack of Blades at the guild with the whole guild on fire. I just played through the anniversary and he was a dragon? Are there two different endings you can get or is the ending for anniversary just totally different?

Here’s a demo I made tonight of an older song I had written for my ex girlfriend. I like the lyrics a lot and the melody. I tried to make the instrumental as interesting as possible since it’s the same chords over and over. It’s supposed to be like a lullaby type thing.

Anyways, I’d love some feedback on it. Is it too short or boring? To me I imagine it going on my “album” (that I’ve been saying I’ll make for years) as a more soft interlude piece between two bigger songs. Or maybe a soft closing to side A.

I’d love to know what you guys think about it and maybe where it fits as a song.

Thanks for listening! 👂 ✌️

This music and melody has lived with me since Covid however long ago that was now. The lyrics have changed multiple times, but they’ve always reflected around time and the changing of states, from death comes life and vice versa. I was in a stable relationship for a long time and always thought this song was too downer or on the nose. But over time I’ve realized it sits right where it should be from my experiences, with some minor twists and changes.

I love the chord progression and the music to death. I would love you guys’ insight on what goes right and what goes wrong with it.

Thanks to my fellow songwriters and may Hephaestus shine on you all 💕🤘
