Hey there, I moved here for a relationship and this was honestly a terrible place to move to as an English speaker since I can't find a job. I'm also short and some factory jobs can't accommodate me. So I have too much time and not much money. I study Dutch in most of my free time and with tutors but I'm only A2 with limited vocab, and play Minecraft a bit with some reddit randos on discord. I don't have family or anything. I'm just bored out of my ass everyday. I also can't drive yet which is kind of infuriating and contributing to my inability to find a job but having a car here is expensive and I'm not quite sure it would be less harmful to have a car without a job already set up.

Happy to just chat. Brownie points if you know of a place I should beg for work from lol. I'm a former nurse in America but that doesn't carry weight here, especially if I can't speak Dutch.

Just as title says. I'm just another person tired of dry and one word responses or ghosters. I live in the Netherlands but am not Dutch. Still working on it 🥲

Wholesome hearty conversations are the best but most people have ulterior motives which is really annoying. I don't care about gender or lack of, I'm fine just chatting with an adult. I play minecraft a bit with some other mostly EU randos from reddit and I occasionally do art but have no finished pieces. I only study (currently off to see my tutor for 2 hours). You're welcome to message me if you're capable of more than 1 word responses.

I don't speak Dutch btw lol. Still learning (it's what I study). I kinda prefer people who are in similar timezones but no biggie if not.

Hopefully mature discussions/posts. For example the topic of forced sterilisation men vs women. It's acceptable for men but somehow for women it's now a human rights violation and unacceptable no matter what. not interested in feminist topics just generalised hypocrisy if you will.
