Are there any other "lifeforms" like viruses out there, or is that all we've discovered so far?

Yes, I know that it's generally agreed upon by biologists that viruses aren't actually alive, but that's why I'm asking this. I'm curious if there are other things out there that are nearly alive but don't meet every requirement to be considered life

It's not as common of a point as it used to be, but I still see some people bringing up how Cyrus shouldn't have a Crobat because it's a friendship evolution, and yeah? He's a hypocrite, I thought that was the point. I thought that he hated emotions because he couldn't suppress them and felt they were responsible for everything wrong in the world and not because he never experienced them (also just because he didn't want to form a bond with his Pokemon doesn't mean his Pokemon felt the same way, just to address this elephant in the room)
