I have a lot of thoughts about eldar and the dragons!
Cute silly one: I learned about the Anurognathus which are little flying Dino’s that lived on the sides of long necks, feeding off bugs and keeping the Dino clean(ish). So dragons get them too!
The rest is more on the dragon rider relationship.
It makes sense that in the grim dark many eldar would use psychic domination to get their dragons to listen to them. So the second image is the helmet I imagine this dragon (Koesh’Morenn cuz ofc I’m writing a story, her nickname is the Tyrant) wore under previous dragon lords. Dragonlords that Koesh’Morenn hated. Previous rider had nine children because they did not want their name being without power even after their death. Koesh’Morenn was dead set to kill each other those children. It was the ninth child, only three years old, that she let sit on her brow. Cre’Kuras (little worm/wyrm) is not the Dragonlord, and he does not put the domineering helmet on Koesh’Morenn. Only what’s protective and never blinding her
TLDR: yes there would be dominating dragon riders but there would also be Horse Girls, who love their creature oh so much and would hunt down anyone who used a whip on their dragon.

I’m struggling to draw the armor right but I had the idea of the fly drakes having reflective ornaments on their belly so that it’s harder for the enemy to aim at them. It’s also more of a rope harness then the full hard armor and saddle that the other raptors have
