She loves to climb in the two hanging pothos I have in her enclosure. I hung them so she wouldn’t trample them and surprisingly even though she does this quite often, they’re still growing very well!

Hi everyone. I got knotless braids (waist length as my natural hair was already midback length so they said they’d have to do waist) for the first time 2.5 weeks ago. I am mixed and have thick, but finer hair and so I obviously was concerned about them ripping my hair out/tension damage etc. Being 2.5 weeks in, I’m seeing what seems to be hair growth (I’ve noticed my braids are not as tight to my head anymore) so do we think I’m in the clear as far as worrying about damage to my hair? I haven’t seen any evidence of my hair being pulled out and my scalp isn’t irritated other than being a little itchy which is normal for me

Saw someone else post their scoliosis and wanted to share mine. Here is one of my rads. I was born with scoliosis (was in a brace by two years old) and unfortunately now have a decent amount of degeneration all throughout my spine at 27. They don’t want to do surgery as they said I’d have to be fused from base of my skull to my tail bone (my cervical region is affected as well) and due to my age, they don’t want to take away what mobility I have.
MRI revealed multisegmental disc degeneration and bulging discs in my neck (from c3-c6) as well as broad-based central disc protrusion, uncovertebral arthrosis, canal stenosis, and bilateral neuroforaminal stenosis.

I receive nerve blocks as needed for pain currently as well as prescription nsaids and muscle relaxers and am on a weight loss journey.

Turns out my “boys” are actually both girls😭🥲 now I feel weird calling them by their male names. It figures that I’d end up with two females as someone who doesn’t like to have anything female lol

Hi everyone! I just got knotless braids for the first time ever (first time ever getting any sort of braiding done) and I’m looking for advice on what my routine should be to maintain these.
-Is there anything I should be doing these first few days?
-What should I be doing daily?
-How do I wash my scalp? And do I also wash the braids themselves?
-Product recommendations?

Ngl all this gel that I have on my scalp right now is kind of grossing me out. Do I just leave it be or can I do something to get rid of some of it without ruining my hair?

Also just in case anyone might come for me because I am light skinned, I am mixed. My natural hair is between 3b and 3c.

This is my moms gecko. I own skinks and don’t really know much about geckos. The area is hard. We are currently soaking him but I’ve looked through this page and saw that this may be a life or death thing. Can anyone tell me if this is most likely impacted sperm plug or something else? She does have experience owning them but i dont know. I think this isn’t of her league. advice please

Screaming happy 4th birthday to my first BTS, Agron! I’ve seen a lot of people’s skinks birthdays are today so happy birthday all of them also!

My 100-400mm Nikon mount lens randomly started shooting dark. The first photo is taken with this lens. The second photo taken with all the same settings and same camera, just with my 135mm sigma ART lens. Only other difference was I had my 100-400 closed at 100mm taking this shot. No editing other than cropping both. You can see the difference clearly. Nothing happened to it for it to start doing this and I’m wondering what the issue might be or if it can be fixed? I use this lens for action photography and when I don’t have much room to be able to adjust my settings to compensate for the lens shooting dark, it causes a problem.
