Need help with heat management and battery life

I have the 2024 model with 16 gb RAM, RTX4050 GPU 6GB and Ryzen 7 8845HS. I recently reinstalled windows on this and have been facing heating issues temperatures on regular zoom meeting or browser use even the battery drains in about 3 hours when using zoom and web brower. Any software recommendations or setting that can improve the performance would be appreciated. Thanks

Returned my XBOX Ally X and got this bad boy.

Love the screen on this, big difference than the Ally X.

Thinking of exchanging my Xbox Ally X with Legion go 2.

Any suggestions? If its worth it? Price is not an issue
