Funduro - Bracken Rocks (UK) Charity Fundraiser

Every year an event called Funduro takes place at bracken rocks (near Matlock) UK, I attended on the Sunday although the event was for the full weekend with camping. On the Saturday they have a 12hour endurance event. The event is a charity fundraiser for blood cancer uk. The course was challenging this year, usually it’s a bit tamer and scaler friendly, but as it’s just for fun you don’t have to go through the gates.

Is anyone interested in RC cars?

Is anyone here interested in RC cars? Rotherham RC is a group of like minded individuals based locally, we do weekly meet ups in and around Rotherham, Sheffield and Derbyshire where we drive RC cars over rough foot paths, through water and woodland - some of you might have already seen us! We don’t go fast & it’s a good opportunity to have a chat and get out there in the great outdoors! We are always looking for people to join us, buy a car, charge your batteries and come for a walk! Today we’ve been out at Glossop to the B29 wreck site and I’ve included some pictures from the last few meets (Padley Gorge, Deepcar woods, Cutthroat bridge & Roche Abbey)

We do most of our planning on Facebook, you can find us here:

B29 Crash Site Trail Run (Glossop UK)

Rotherham RC club meet (10/5/26) we drove our rigs up to the B29 crash site, Good company, interesting destination and a nice run all round, the only thing that was a negative was how cold it was when we got there!
