I’m new to Thiruvananthapuram and I’ll only be here for about a week. Maybe it’s just culture shock, but I genuinely feel like everyone here keeps to themselves.

I’ve been to cafés, walked around, explored a bit, and it feels like nobody really interacts with strangers. Back where I’m from, random conversations happened a lot more naturally.

Is this just how TVM is, or am I looking in the wrong places?

I’d love to meet new people, grab a coffee, hit the beach, explore good food spots, or just have a chill conversation. Any recommendations for places where people are actually open to socializing?

Not complaining just curious if this is a normal experience for someone who’s new here
