this is freshly washed and air dried. my hair is pretty high density but incredibly fine, which just makes it unbelievably fluffy and frizzy. it’s also nearly dead straight underneath near my neck 🙃

when i’ve tried diffusing it becomes an absolute birds nest - instead of defined waves it just goes wonky and bent, and it does nothing to help the frizz.

i haven’t put any styling products in today, because i feel like no matter what i use it just makes my hair look greasy and dirty. i use L’Oreal glycolic gloss shampoo & dream lengths conditioner. every so often i’ll use pantene sheer volume shampoo as well.

pls help a gal, i just want to have shiny hair :-(

edit: i should also add that it tangles like nobody’s business, so i’m terrified of not brushing it lol

figured i should probably seek some advice before i go anywhere near the scissors 🤣

i bought this top from an op shop while on holiday a few weeks ago. it’s a bit too big on me, so i need to
take it in at the sides. i’m debating whether or not to add a little bit of ruching/gathering to the sides while i’m at it. on one hand, i love the more cinched look around the waistline and the added texture/interest, but i’m also a bit worried that it’ll make the top look too “busy” with the patterned fabric. i’m also not 100% sure how i’d go about executing that yet lol.

i’m also wondering what to do with this weird little collar(?)/neckline - when worn it just sort of flops around and looks odd. i considered using the cutoff fabric to make a little button loop & covered button to fasten it, but i kinda feel like that’d just look like i’ve got my shirt on back to front 🫠

anyway, seeking opinions from those who know more than i do. do tell me if i’m being too ambitious and should just stick with the good ole straight stitch 🙏
