Masterchef Australia

Has anyone watched this? Came across it on Prime & 11 episodes into season 1, I realize that it’s episode 11 & only ONE contestant has been eliminated so far. WTAF!!!! There are over 70 episodes for just this season.

It took the first 6 episodes to get the top 20…the next 3 episodes covered a mystery box, a one-on-one with a professional chef & a team challenge before the first elimination. AND that elimination took an entire episode to accomplish!!!

Prime doesn’t have all the seasons but looking at the ones they have, they are all over 50 episodes (season 3 has over 80).

Would Teal’c have won the match with Ronan if he still had Junior?

Jared got what he was basically asking for.

So I just finished Season 8, Episode 14 "Still Gotta Mean Something". Rick & Morgan got captured by the Saviors who escaped Hilltop. Rick is trying to make a deal with them & Jared says to another Savior not to believe them because Morgan is crazy having killed one of his own guys in front of him. If that’s the case Jared, why in THEE fuck did you antagonize this man on the walk back to Hilltop after y’all were captured? After Jesus stopped him from killing you the first time, you were so gun-ho to antagonized that man.

OG s9 e17 “Shield”

This is the episode where an officer (detective, I think) is killed by his girlfriend’s (regular officer) partner because he abused her and the department didn’t do anything about it.

It bothers me that the she was willing to go to prison for her partner, telling him to go home to his family, like she didn’t have kids of her own to take care of.

Apparently I still get scared & my nerves are shot…

I’m doing my first rewatch since the show ended. I’m up to s2 e2, when they go to the high school to get med supplies. I’ve always been afraid of zombies (especially the really fast running ones from the Dawn of the Dead remake & Black Summer) but watching this show over the years has desensitized me to them…or so I thought.

Since it’s still early in this zombie apocalypse, these walkers are moving a bit more faster (even running somewhat) than the later seasons. I would put certain scenes on mute because I could watch it easier without sound but as the seasons progressed, I was able to watch without issues.

I’ve done rewatches over the years, been several years since (before the final season aired) & don’t recall how I felt watching then but for some reason, the herd on the highway (s2 e1) and the high school scenes are bringing back my anxiety, even though I know the outcome.

I guess it’s a testament to how good the early seasons are & why I couldn’t wait for Sundays nights to watch live. But my 50 year old heart can’t take this!!!

First thing is I couldn’t remember her name. The entire season I struggled to remember her name. And it’s a simple name.

Secondly, her speech cadence irked my soul. It felt as though English wasn’t her native tongue and she had to think about what she would say before saying it & enunciate with the intention of sounding like a native English speaker.
