Do you find any obvious issues?

I was replacing the valve cover gasket. During this time I recorded this video. Just checking with the community if they find any issues that needs repairs soon.

Thanks

Do I need to replace brake rotor

Hi All,

I'm having some sound coming that's proportional to the tire rotation speed. I cleaned the brakes, checked if there's play in ball joints/ wheel hub but couldn't find anything.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Unable to remove starter motor

Hi, for my Jeep Liberty 2002 Limited, I removed all the nuts from the starter motor and the starter motor got physically separated from the engine. However I'm unable to remove outside as it gets stuck by transmission on one side, cat on other side, and from differential yoke from the bottom.

What to do?

Thank you

Jeep Liberty not cranking

yesterday the car was not cranking for 3-4 times but it cranked later, after a 100 mile drive, it started right away, then i double started it by mistake (cranked when engine was ruinning) after that it was not cranking (check engine code P0455) was always there. Then I disconnected negative terminal for few mins and then reconnected and started with a jump starter batter after few efforts (here I started with gas pedal on floor) then I drove it for half hour. Again it is not cranking and getting P0837 (4WD related code, I have pulled front driveshaft). Battery voltage was 12.6, now it's around 12.3. Any suggestions?

Valve cover gasket leak

Hi All,

For jeep Liberty 2002, valve cover gaskets were leaking, so 6 months ago I ordered the gaskets from eBay and a mechanic installed them.

Now again I see some oil near the gaskets. It's not dripping in floor right now but causing burning smell and some smoke near O2 sensor.

What to do? Is there any diy solution?

Thanks

Small cracks in between trades

I got this tyre from a parts car. He said they have 2000 miles. I'm worried about the cracks. Are they dangerous? Please suggest me on a scale of 1 to 10 (immediate replacement needed).

Identifying noise during 4WD

Yesterday my Jeep was stuck in 4WD high for sometime on a paved road. I saw weird vibrations and hard steering. Even after the 4WD was disengaged, there was clunking noise. I found that front drive shaft was damaged, I pulled it. The car felt better even before the front drive shaft damage. I replaced with a parts car, still there's clicking noise during 4WD. This happens even during reverse, but doesn't happen in 2 WD. Few weeks ago I filled the front differential and it's leaking from driver side CV axle with differential joint. How to find what's going on wrong. How to identify the issue?

Different sets of front and rear tyres damaging front axle during 4WD?

I have 2 different sets of tyres ( size is same but the rear tyres have totally different depth and pattern of trades), can this damage my front driveshaft when I drive it especially on hard pavement (I mainly run on gravel pavement but sometimes on hard pavement just for few feet)? Or it can even happen even all 4 Tyres are matching.

How to check if the 2WD completely disengages ? I just pulled front driveshaft and the car runs easily.

My Jeep Liberty 2002 Limited doesn't have heated seats. Is it possible to swap current seats with a part out Jeep Liberty 2002 that has heated seats?
