[Lightning Rod] - my first RMC!

[Lightning Rod] - my first RMC!

I see why some people aren't keen on the restraints but I thought this was great. Fast and completely unpredictable to the very finish.

[Cyclone] at Luna Park is my 100th credit!

I was so surprised by this - I was expecting something like the Nash but it is smooth and intense with standing airtime.

Celebration of Arendelle

I did not expect that the bridge would be so completely thronged that unless you get in position well in advance you can see absolutely nothing. I also didn't expect to see so many kids climbing on the railings which can't be safe.

[Big Thunder Mountain] in Disneyland Paris is so smooth after its renovation.

Perfect family coaster and even better now with new track and new effects.

[La Pomme] - my 99th credit is a Wacky Worm at Tuleries in Paris

As they say, a cred's a cred. No. 100 is either going to be RC Racer or Lightning Rod at Dollywood...

[Blackpool Pleasure Beach] I find myself here again

This grubby park and this insane collection of shonky coasters! I love this place but omg Grand National is rough AF (it's the first time I've been on it since I was a kid). Big One was just ridiculous and Enso was transcendental as usual.

[Wodan] was running so fast today, I'm not sure it should be allowed

38 degrees and at the end of the day, she was an absolute menace. I loved it!

6 year old telescope just died suddenly

Its tank mate is fine, it was swimming about quite happily an hour or so ago. I think it may have choked on gravel, as a chunk came out of its mouth when I removed it from the tank.

Is this likely?

This idiot ate a hair tie

£300 and an evening at the veterinary hospital for induced vomiting later, she's absolutely fine.

[Hyperia] first rides of the season and still my favourite UK coaster

We had a very sweaty but fun day at Thorpe. There was quite a bit of ride downtime and it was quite busy with school trips. Couldn't get on Stealth as it broke down every time we approached it! But a nice way to celebrate the end of my daughter's GCSEs and the start of a hopefully coaster filled summer.

Emergency services at The Swarm

Came to Swarm Island to see actual police and ambulance services here. Anyone know what happened?

Midwinter Day, or Midwinter, is an annual celebration held across Antarctica on the day of the southern winter solstice (June 20 or 21). It is the continent's primary cultural holiday and, along with Antarctica Day, is one of two principal Antarctic holidays.

Sage Tea Maker - after breaking my 5th I'm done...

Hi. We have had a Sage tea maker for around 10 years, but the other evening I cracked the glass on what I think is our 5th one. That evening I ordered an insulated stainless steel teapot and declared that the Sage is just too flipping expensive to be made of something as fragile as glass. RIP
