155 Virtuosa for $500?

While shopping at a fabric store that also sold sewing machines (both new and old), I was invited to put $100 down on a 155 Virtuosa that was on sale for $500.

I’m interested in having a machine that will handle heavier projects like big tote bags. I currently use a Brother Innovis NX-450 which so far handles everything except one particular thick seam.

Does this sound like a reasonable price for that? Is it a strong machine? Any advice is appreciated.

Tried TrueCar and didn't get offers on what I asked for. What gives?

I tried using TrueCar yesterday for the first time and neither of the offers I received are the car I requested. (Wrong trim, or just wrong colors) According to those dealership websites, they don't have what I want. Do I just accept an OTD quote from the one with the correct trim, and then use it as leverage at the dealership that DOES have the colors I want? Or should I resubmit a request and choose ALL the dealerships willing to participate?

Does Tire Discrepancy on Rental SUV Make it Unsafe?

I’m renting a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee hybrid SUV (not my choice, that’s what they gave me when I asked for compact or mid-sized SUV) and intend to use it for a 1,000 mile road trip on Sunday on the interstate over the mountains.

Three tires are the same: Celino Prevail “extra load” max pressure 49, size 265/60R18

Front right tire is same size, but is a Vantage SUV, no extra load designation, with a max pressure of 44.

When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed the front right showed 36 psi on the dash when the others were around 46. I pointed it out to the salesperson, and she inflated that front right to 44.

Is this safe? I already hate to drive this thing with the ANC and the jerky driving movement. This new development makes me feel like an accident waiting to happen. Please advise.
