The Homegoods shopper

Yes he was allowed to be there. He gave himself a bath in the bathroom section and wanted to pick a rug (he did not get a rug).

The beast lords over the room from his cave

He does not get hormonal about the cave. He has another one for sleeping. This is where I put him when I need to get stuff done and can’t have somebody green walking all over my desk. He’s got some chew toys and stuffies in there but mostly just wants to preen and supervise.

Pinguicula primuliflora colonizing the concrete from part of an abandoned fishery

The whole fishery is not abandoned, but at least this part of it is no longer in use and has fallen to entropy.

Jasper was not eating the pings, just fondling the grass.

Average Monday morning

Don’t worry, Jasper is not allowed to interact with the frogs freely. He is mostly interested in me and the bagel. When they are in my hand, I have allowed him to touch them with his beak gently but that is all.

Love bug hell

There are so many. I have lived in Florida my entire life and never seen such a swarm. My car looks like it was descended upon by seagulls because of the sheer number of splattered bug bodies that have peppered my windshield white. I saw a car left idling that had so many bugs on the front of it you could hardly see the paint. Is anyone else as baffled as I am??
